Top Feeding During Flowering Recommendations

  1. Suggestions on top feeds? Ratios to gallon or cu ft? Right now I'm using Indonesian Bat guano at 1/2 tablespoon per gallon of soil/pot every 3rd watering and seems to be doing fine. Might do 1 table spoon soon but kind of questioning it.

But I'm looking for some diversity. Any suggestions? Teas?

  2. QUALITY Worm castings and kelp are always good to top dress with. Kelp rules.

  3. Floralicious works good. It has 20% kelp and other good stuff. I use that as a foliar spray. Use it into flowering?

  4. Def not lacking in N. Don't want anymore of it lol. My plants are greener now then they were in veg haha

  5. Never foliar spray in flower. That will cause mold/bud rot.

  6. I did the first two weeks a fast alfalfa. But nothing after that

  7. Oh yeah, before buds actually start to form its fine.

  8. So is a guano topping/tea the best thing for it for flower?

  9. The best thing for a flowering cannabis plant is a healthy, living soil. A soil should allow the Soil Food Web, to not only exist, but flourish. The first step in this ongoing process is to make sure the humus portion of your soil is of the highest quality. Nothing is better than properly made EWC that you've made at home. It's up to you to provide your soil, not your plants, with not just N-P-K, but with all the minerals required for a healthy ecosystem. Provide a broad range of nutrients, combine it w/ a high CEC, and then let them become available via micro/macrolife and the Soil Food Web.

But yeah, I'd topdress w/ kelp and EWC myself.

  10. So is it really hydro guys or bottled fed synthetic guys that like to delete N from there soil? Its so hard to talk to people about organics when all they have done is nute feeds. They believe that they just know its best but then ask them if they ever have and they say no? Its frustrating as fuck. Seems like 90% of growers use sin nutes. Outdoors too. Errrr thank god for GC

  11. Guano is great, but it's nice to use something a little more balanced. Kelp is my single favorite ammendment because it has such a broad range of nutrients your plants and soil need. Take 1/2 cup kelp per 5 cups worm castings and soak it enough to make it like mud and smear that across the top of your soil. The roots will shoot up into it and the plants will love you for it. Alternate that with guano teas and you should be golden.

  12. Balance feedings in veg, balanced feedings in flower. Don't let anyone tell you anything different. It's like saying to only feed kids fruit while adults only get veggies. It doesn't work that way for any living creature.

  13. if you don;t let go of the side of the pool you;ll never learn to swim.
