  1. I have no idea what happened, ph was regulated normally 5.5-6.0 corrected every day. Ppm around 1000. Day 9 of being 12/12 flower. Tent temp is around 75-80 water around 75. 400 watt hps. I have no idea what to do? Cut the roots off? Flush? 0824141109.jpg 0824141101.jpg 0824141101a.jpg

  5. Well they look weird as fuck because she's dying lol. Its also bagseed so Idk What the Hell kind of strain it is

  6. 1000ppm is way too high, way too high for that plant

  7. Oh I didn't know that. But does that explain the mold? Well either way I cut the above the mold I don't know if that was the right th ing to do but whatever I did it.

  8. Id say cannazym is in order. I didnt realize your plant was flowering already, it looks small to me. I had 1200ppm with plants 3 times that size. I didnt notice the mold til now.

Some people use poolshock treatment others use bennies.

  9. Yeah well this is my first grow and I also want it to be done flowering cause I only have one grow room and it's bagseed and I have some Afghan and big bud I wanna grow from seed.

Well it's looking like it's improving since I cut off the roots and just put it in some regular Water

  10. Isn't the water supposed to be below like 68?

  12. Yea I realize that the water temp is supposed to be that low and mine is not. However between work and school I don't know a way to keep my buckets temp that low without ice packs throughout the day which I cannot do, because of time restraints. Any ideas of a cheap way to do this? I can't spend too much and I have three buckets any advice? Btw thanks for the responses

    Nope.

Dont grow weed in hydro without a chiller or the proper setup. There's no way around it.

    Theres no alternative....besides....SOIL :smoke:

Youre gettin root rot by allowing your temps to rise.

Some people toss ice bottles in there but it doesnt help much. I put my hydro stuff away til fall/winter for the same reasons and grow organic soil during the hot seasons

  14. H2O2 cant hurt at this point, the pool shock is a proven method too.

get the air temps down, it will help with the water temps too., open the tent when the lights are on.

  15. What's the ratio of hydrogen peroxide to gal of water that I use? And thanks for the tip man I'll open the tent fer sure

  16. I know nothing about hydroponic growing but I wish you the best of luck.

Yeah you'll definately have to find a way to keep temps down if you want to continue growing with hydroponics

  18. I drew this at work. Was gonna get some tubing, a water pump, a cooler and make this contraption lol. Think it'll work lololololol? 0825140523a.jpg

  19. Alright brother. Sorry to see you're suffering towards the end. There are many ways to fight that slime. Sterilizing agents like h2o2 or clorox bleach (at lower doses obviously), enzymes and beneficial bacteria ....... However, the thing that works best is brewing your own tea/supertonic which includes an army of a very diverse microorganisms (bacteria, fungi and others) to help you gain control of your res. And guess what?????? It is your lucky day. The organisms in this tea love the low to mid 70s res temps.
So I already posted something similar about 10 hours ago and I'll repost it here:
Ever considered using bennies? Check out the thread about it created by Heisenberg on RIU! Its stickied to the hydroponic DWC forum. Trust me brother when I say it works if you have the disease and it works at preventing it and most importantly it makes the roots explode in growth! The way I fixed my slime problem which made me give up on DWC for a year is the following:
I increased the amount of air going in my res by purchasing a heavy duty 105 watt pump for a 10 gal res.
In a separate bucket I added 2 gallons of water, half a scoop of great white (you can use aqua shield and ZHO combined), a handful of wiggle worm EWC in a sock (ancient forest is better but I couldn't get a hold of it) and a table spoon of molasses. Add airstons and let it bubble for 48 hours. The tea should smell earthy or anything but gross. If it smells like sweaty hockey equipment or a gym or dirty sock then start over. Otherwise if you have the disease: you add a cup of bennies per gallon of res as an initial inoculation. Then 1 cup per 10 gal every 3rd day.
If you don't have the disease and just use the tea for prevention or after treating your res and controlling it you want to keep the bennies for prevention, use 1 cup per 10 gal of res every 3rd day. And watch your plant recover.
After the 48h of brewing the tea, you can store the rest of the tea in an open container in the fridge. Don't freeze it (freezing kills bennies) and don't cover the tea in the fridge (we need the oxygen to dissolve in the water even if the bennies are put to sleep in the cold).
When you inoculate you res initially make sure you drop the nutes to a very low ppm until you eradicate the problem then slowly reintroduce the nutes. Don't use enzyme products in the res if you have the disease. They feed the slime. Also keep in mind the bennies love a res temp in the low to mid 70s!!!!!! They have the best fighting capacity at those temps

  20. Also brewing for 48 hours is important. The population of your tea will be different at 24 hours (mainly bacteria) than at 48 hours (bacteria and fungi). There's a type of fungus (trichoderma) that's present in GW and you absolutely want that to be activated. It literally attachs itself to pythium and kills it!
