T-Break = Loss Of Appetite And Insomnia?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by mightyliang, Aug 23, 2014.

  1. So this whole summer I've been smoking every day, and a minimum of 2 times each day. I realized my tolerance got pretty high. So I decided to take a T-break. The morning that I woke up, I had no appetite. I literally felt like throwing up if I ate something. That night when I tried sleeping, I couldn't. I laid on my bed for 3 hours with my eyes closed trying to sleep but I just couldn't. 2nd day, same thing happened. Had no appetite but my stomach was growling. Had to force myself to eat and for some reason I felt full after 2 bites of a sandwich. DIdn't sleep well that night too. Today is my 3rd day and again, no appetite but I forced myself to each half a sandwich. So for these 3 days that I'm on my T-break so far, I literally ate less than one sandwich (<300 calories) and had to stay up super late (4-7am) before I get tired and finally knock out.

I know that weed isn't addictive, but why am I having these symptoms?

  2. They will go away. You put something in your system for a prolonged period of time and suddenly take it away, you're going to have some sort of reaction. Loss of appetite and insomnia is two of the more prevalent oneS .

It takes about 3 days to get the sleep pattern back on track, About the same, give or take, for your appetite, and for your mind to stop thinking about weed takes 1-2 weeks. After a week you'll feel pretty normal and good. Cheers.

  3. I'm actually going to smoke tomorrow so I can't wait. Reason why is because I want to smoke with some friends before school starts. When school starts, I'll be smoking on the weekends only so I'll be taking 1 week T-break every week and I'm so excited because that should keep my tolerance level down which means I'll enjoy my weekend highs even more! :D

Hopefully I don't have a loss of appetite/insomnia when school starts. That's going to be hell -_-

  4. Why give up now? You already got past the first 3 days. After that, those symptoms will start to fade away. If you tell yourself you will wait to stop smoking, more then likely you won't stop smoking. I've done it many times

I'm not giving up. I just really wanna enjoy the last weekend with some friends before school starts. I know my priorities and this year I'm taking 4 classes, 3 of which are science classes so I won't even have time to smoke during the week. I'll be too busy with homework and shit so I'll reward myself with a few bowls on the weekend.
