Marc Emery The Prince Of Pot Is Finally Free

Discussion in 'Politics' started by rendole, Aug 22, 2014.

  1. After 4 years of being imprisoned in the US Marc has finally returned home to Canada and he's on a mission to support the liberal party as he hopes they'll fulfill their promise of legalizing weed.

  2. Damn straight! About time those terrorists let him loose.

  3. I'm very interested in seeing how the liberals are. Gonna react to Marc jumping on their bandwagon and essentially turning their party into the legalization party.

  4. They won't like it. Marc Emery is an arrogant prick. He likened the 'suffering' of marijuana users to the persecution of Jews during the Holocaust.

The LPC will keep their distance; rightfully so. He will only hold them back.

  5.
The Harper Cons are gunna have a field day!  But they might have met their match this time.

  6. I find Emery to be an egotistical douche, personally. Remember the Youtube video he posted to his "fans" right before he went to jail, the one basically saying it was all their fault he was going to prison?

    Douchebag IMO

I do not think any man should be incarcerated for marijuana, unless he's directly responsible for someones death. Each freed marijuana supporter is a victory for marijuana.

There should be a website for each freed person and their story and each incarcerated person and their story, to draw more attention to the lawless, ignorant, hypocrisy of it all.

The website should have a tally to show just how many people are in for marijuana only and a list of a victim tree, for all that prohibition effected.

Don't know if you are aware, but we're gearing up for a Fed election and each side is trying to figure out the best position on weed in order to win the "stoner" vote, without islolating the the people who are against legalization or what have you.

Should be interesting on that front alone, even tho there are obviously other more important issues at play.

That's right exactly.  As a US citizen this was nothing other than my country declaring war on a Canadian Citizen.
How the hell did Canada let this happen when the guy was paying taxes and abiding by their laws?
Really sick of our 2 faced approach.
The US would never let this happen if the shoe were on the other foot.

  10. Uhh not really...

He DID sell MILLIONS of Marijuana seeds to US citizens.. Which is ILLEGAL. America was just doing what America does. Persecuting anyone who disobeys it's laws.

The really embarrassing part of the story is that Canada straight handed him over.

Not the over reaching American govt! The pussy/wanna be American Canadian govt.

No offense C'nucks. Just like I don't hate Americans. Don't hate C'nucks. We just both have really shitty representatives right now

  11. That being said... How often does the Canadian government come after Smith & Wesson for shipping an order to Canada?
They don't.  They go after the person ordering the Gun..

  12. Really? Wow the man was one of the first to spread cannabis genetics all over the world in mass amounts, he gave 5 years of his life away for the cause and donated MILLIONS towards the legalization efforts in Colorado and Washinton, as well as other states.

..... and you guys just want to bash him.

    Show some fucking respect.

he did not go to prison for selling seed illegally. I REPEAT.  HE DID NOT GO TO PRISON FOR SELLING SEEDS.  He went to prison for funding the legalization effort and being damn successful at it.... again show some fucking respect. Most of us would not be puffing top quality genetics if it wasn't for him.

  13. So is he free from prison or just transferring to a Candia prison?

    I thought he got life?

  14. He set foot back in Canada on the 12th.

  15. 5 years, out early for good conduct.

  16. If any of these seed banks had a public face hed be in prison too. Youre absolutely correct imo.

  17.
Lets be real here, he made tons of money selling seeds to Americans, he knew what might happen if he got caught. He got caught, then bitched on Youtube about his fans not doing enough to get him off on those charges. Well fuck you Emery, where's my cut of the weed seed profits then?

  18. Here's an interesting story by David Malmo Levine.  He claims that Emery was actually imprisoned because they heckled the US drug Czar John P. Walters at a speech.

Sad but true I believe that story to be entirely possible for something like that to happen.

"lots of people sell seeds but not everybody rents a table at hotel where the drug Czar speaks and then blasts him with the truth for a half an hour"

You are just plain ignorant.  He also gave every dollar of profit he made towards the legalization efforts IN USA.  This has even been completely transparent to the DEA and almost every dollar he made has been accounted for in a paper trail as he did everything openly and transparently as if it were legal.

I'd really like to see this youtube video of him bitching about his fans.  Source or it didn't happen.

We all know it was the canadian government why he went to prison, not his fans.  ESPECIALLY HE KNOWS THAT.

LOL "source or it didn't happen". It did indeed happen, you can look it up on Youtube yourself if you can pull yourself up off Emery's dick for 2 minutes.
