Homemade Bowl Need Help Asap

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by Mr.Macky, Aug 22, 2014.

  1. so usually i make homemade bongs/pipes with aluminium foil for the bowl piece (found it good as it was easy to poke little holes in it) but i've recently found out it's bad for your lungs or something, so..... i need to know how to make a bowl out of house hold materials for a bong i'm making out of a glass jar

    ( btw no i don't have any sockets )

really need some help as i was hoping to have it set up for tonight (few hours away)

thanks for any help, appreciate it

  2. Uhh. You could always muster up under 40bucjks and still walk out of a headship with a decent glass bong instead of being cheap...unless you're under 18

  3. Pick up a great metal pipe from the local headshop for a couple bucks? Use an apple? Roll it?

  4. i usually use an apple pipe but i wanted to give a bong ago this time, im searching the house atm trying to find something but cant find nothing!

Another thread of people replying but not answering OP's question...

I've been there, done that and have most definitely made my fair share of homemade pieces. Although those days have passed I still recall how I made a glass jar bong without a socket available.

You need a straw and a lid for the jar, something to poke small holes, tin foil (OPTIONAL) and some sticky tack and tape (gum also works...kind of)

Poke a small hole on the right side of the lid for the straw (preferably a small fraction less than the circumference of the straw)

Seal the straw to prevent air from coming in, this will act as a downstem.

Poke ~5 very small holes on the lid that are close together, this will act as a bowl.

Option #2: poke a hole on the left side of the lid that is your desired size for the bowl, cover with tin foil, tape tin foil onto the lid without it being at risk of getting burnt.

  6. perfect, reckon that'll do for now. thanks man, exactly what i was looking for! :)
