Well you ride the beat well for someone who was stoned and slapped it together quickly. Do you write to the beat? If not, that will help immensely. And I've found that most issues with flow or rough spots can be fixed by changing tenses or using a more laconic way of saying something. A lot of times I'll realize that I don't need X amount of words, and I can say the same thing in fewer words to fit better over the beat and even work in some internal rhymes, if the opportunity is there.

What kind of software/hardware did you use?

  10. Just put this up a few minutes ago, enjoy trippy blade nation!

    Appreciate that man, very much.
I wrote to the beat, but like I said, it was done really quickly. I've wrote better bars to it since, but I need to practice my delivery to really make it sound decent. Haven't got any software to make a beat at the moment - I've attempted to use FL Studio but I never have the patience to actually learn how to do it. I've got a friend on here (who I've met in person... @Lipsmoker) who makes his own beats and has made one or two that he said I can do a track over.
This was purely just a test for flow, I don't try to fit in as many words as possible in every track. I've gotten myself a Shure M58 to record now, as opposed to a standard built-in laptop microphone.

I used Audacity to record it man.

I recommend snagging a copy of Cool Edit Pro. It's abandon-ware and there's a universal registration under the name Peter Quistgard that you can find if you do a little digging. Even though it's 15-year-old software, it's light-years ahead of Audacity in terms of recording and working with raw wav files.

But what's best about it is that you can really polish vocal tracks with the built-in compressors and filters. It makes all the difference in the world.

Also, depending on what kind of beats you like, check out Soundclick. Everyone's on Soundcloud now, but Soundclick is really where the hip hop heads have traditionally posted their shit. One good example is Anno Domini Beats, which makes bangers and puts them up for free for demo use. (You gotta pay if you're making a commercial album, obviously.) There are a ton of great producers on Soundclick, just gems waiting to be found.

Thanks for the advice man, I'll look into getting Cool Edit Pro. Been looking up a bunch of tutorials for mixing and whatnot, it's just going to take some time seeing as I've only recorded three times now.

I'll sign up today, after I've came back down to Earth after this wake and bake haha. Sounds good - I know of Anno Domini (of course, who doesn't? haha), I've actually wrote a few bars over his beats in the past. Brilliant producer. Again, thanks bro. Real cool of you to try and help a dude out.

THIRD RECORDING - not as good, I don't think. Had a lot of trouble with mixing it to the beat, and I genuinely have a really bad cold at the moment haha.

I'm sicker than an AID's-infested prick cutting off zits,
from the syphilis-infected clitoris on your bitch.
Chewing the liquid just to spit it back on her tits,
while he tugs-off dicks of midgets then fidgets with little kids.
I'm the demonic plague, the skunk-scented haze,
the redrum-fueled gaze, encased inside my brain.
Son, I'm way-past insane in a murderous stage,
in a Bundy-like craze I've replaced love with hate.
Jimmy Saville flow, dropping a 'P' from rapping.
    I make rappers start crapping,
more than the crap their gums are flapping.
You little faggots and maggots ain't got half of my passion,
you won't even match a fraction when I'm scattered ashes joining Manson.

  14. Hot of the presses, experimental live jam (with video) using a bunch of drum machines, analog synthesizers and sequencers.   Everything recorded live with no over-dubbing or plug-ins involved:

No prob. Peep my shit if you get a chance. I'm not being immodest by saying I'm murderous on the mic, 'cause the proof is in the pudding. My problem is trying to get motivated to start writing again...it's been a while and I would like to get back into it, but I feel like if I'm gonna do that I need to have full control over every aspect of it, which means using my own beats. I just can't get down on 99% of the beats I hear. So to do that, I have to stop being lazy lol.
