    No bud for over a week now and gyo isn't going week. Hate moving to a new town.

    Find a local meeting of narcotics anonymous. Lots of people there know where to get weed.

    He was typing it on his iPhone and auto-correct probably messed up the word "well" lol, and I never even thought of NA meetings. I've heard of people going there and wind up finding new connects for things thought, I always thought it would be kind of sketchy.
    Not a bad idea though

    The NA thing is very much sketchy, and introduces an ostensibly unwelcome element (see: drug solicitation, also 'Breaking Bad') to an environment which exists essentially for diametrically different and opposed reasons. As for less generally sketch areas where you can chat with locals and not be presented with that immediate feeling of awkwardness, dog parks seem to be frequented by a fair amount of stoners, but unless you own a dog it's not much better than showing up to a random NA meeting.

    Yeah, I grew up in London and throughout the years of smoking with friends and knowing friends of friends I could always get some. Now I'm in Bristol (at uni) don't really know anyone because it hasn't started yet and all my housemates have the same problem. I don't want to go to a drug meeting just seems a bit sketchy like you guys said and approaching someone in a street isn't easy, not confident enough haha I've tried a few stonners I saw in a park the other day but they wanted £7 for a joint so I politely denied haha. Just gonna have to wait till uni starts, still have a month left :( insomnia getting bad now 😔😔😔

    That's why I wanted to post this, it's so hard when you're knew to a town and know no one. Just puts people at danger, not only myself but other that I ask or whatever. Just another problem about it being illegal. I envy Colorado haha

    Having just re-read the details of your situation, perhaps a pub crawl with some of your housemates is in order? I know that personally (foolish or not) I'd probably be more likely to at least broach the subject of herb conversationally in that type of setting, and the morale boost of having friends with you certainly couldn't hurt.

    Trust me I tried, I live in the ghetto of Bristol (Easton) :( half the time I'm scared to leave the house after 8 haha all the people that live here are either on crack or just mental and I think that's why it's proving so difficult, but that's what happens when you don't know the town I guess. I'm just going to have to wait for uni to start as my local pub is bad, I've heard that they sell illegal drugs there from my boss at work after asking him about the local area but he's lived here for 50 years and said 'I know the people that go there, find a different pub' so I'll give that a miss.

    Just wanted to ask you guys, do you think it be safer buying it online or continue to try and find a contact?

    I know the different risk, I mean I don't want the police kicking my door down because I bought halfs of someone or something like that but then again I don't want to go out and get stabbed for £20.

    Honestly I met one the best connects I've ever had on Craigslist but than again it's legal here.. All you have to do is look for "caregivers" that don't specifically ask for the paperwork. Meet up with them and 9/10 times they will feel you out and sell you what you want. I'm sure you already know but I wouldn't just walk in that place asking for drugs -_- good luck bro I know that shirty feeling. But if you want it enough you'll get it. Bro even go on PoF and try and get some the girls to get you some. Has worked for me!

    Do not attempt to procure any drugs online that are not legal based, obviously, on the region you live (social meet-up sites are another, far more gray area) . Bad idea in general. Given the timing, and other obvious issues, I would probably just try to look at the situation as a brief period to decrease tolerance and make the next time you get good herb that much better.
