Just wanted to share my current grow. I'm doing organic soil, and water only. I might do cloning of the Blue Shark later; but other than that, the Med Gom and Pineapple are both auto flowers.
I will most likely force herm the med gom for some more seeds when it comes time.

I decided to grow some CBD strains to make some tinctures. In the past, I have made pure THC vegetable glycerin tinctures with close to 75% THC. So now I want to make CBD tincture.

Before I start the log I'd like to share an experience..

My mother has come down with an odd skin irritation, that causes extreme itching all day. She has gone in for allergy tests, fungal tests, and more. All results have been inconclusive with multiple medicines failing. So I decided to share some of the THC tincture, and to our amazement, it instantly stops her itching for about a whole day.

So now onto the grows. I hope some of you can give me input and advice as I go. This is not my first grow, but I feel I can never learn too much about this medicine.

One concern is, I have noticed spider webs on one of the plants every other morning, but no spiders other than one morning there was a large jumping spider. Unfortunately I missed an awesome pic of it on there with the Macro. lol

All the plants germinated the same day, on July 30.

    Med Gom 1.0:
She is already growing pistils at 3 weeks. Seems a bit early to me. Her bottom leaves also have turned brown and yellow very fast.

  2. Beautiful pictures!! Much higher quality than what most people take.

Were the spider webs large, or like the tiny webs that spider mites make?

  3. If love to get a try of that blue shark

  4. I'm glad you like the pics, I can't wait to take some quality bud shots!
I've never had spider mites before, but they are small thin webs. I will try to get a pic of them in the morning if they are back.

Me too, I can't wait! It would be nice if it was possible for this site to organize group meets, and sampling! lol

  5. Caught a pic of the spider. He is beige and white. Not a spider mite, but I'll see if he comes back tomorrow after being relocated... lol

  6. Aren't most spiders beneficial insects that eat the bad guys? Usually I like seeing spiders around my gardens. But I don't know if it's different when growing weed.

  7.
I prefer my buds without webs. He is the only one I found, but the webs traveled to each plant.

  8. Calling all biologist and insect identifiers!
I have personally never seen one of these in my life, and it is really bizarre looking. It's face reminds me of a reptile, but it has to be some sort of insect.. The eyes are independent such as a chameleon, and its mouth is more like a lizard as well.. Found this guy on the pineapple express...sooo I took some awesome shots!

    Anyone??

This will be an insect log, more than a grow log apparently.

  9. Maybe a species of a cicada?

    That's all I got

  10. Man Im so interested in the Blue shark, Ive come so close to making in order for that strain Im really excited to see how it turns out. And props for you bro for lookin into the CBD thats the big medicine there

  11. I recognise monrovia nursery pots. I used to work there.......

  12. Thank you!! That led me to find out it is called a "glass-winged sharpshooter" After reading a bit, I do not want them near my plants! They suck the water right out the stems, and some carry a bacterium that can kill a plant in a couple months.
Unfortunately, he kept coming back, so I had to get rid of him for good...
    Here's a little update..
    DSC_0072.JPG
Pineapple express is stretching and starting to flower, I have her in a 1 gal, but I'm scared that transplanting will stress her out... Should I do it asap or let her finish?

Blue Shark is a bit bushy and covering lower growth, so I may start cloning and pruning her.

Here is a blurry shot of the pineapple express. Today was hot, humid, and raining here, she looks a bit sad.

Med Gom just about ready for harvest.
Trying out a new technique; total darkness with roots rinsed and soak in ro water for two days. Why not?
Mostly cloudy, lots of amber, and some clear.

Looks big, but lots of small leafs fill a lot of the plant.

The final "flush" looked too cool. Root system was very small compared to plant.

2 days left till the roots are chopped and they are hung to dry. Any thoughts?

  15. Hey bro, please could you give a update on the Blue Shark?

  16. Why is it soo small?
