With a background in Marketing, Digital marketing, SEM and SEO, and an undergrad from NYU Stern, where might i look for a job in the industry? I don't necessairly need to be growing/handling actual bud, working for a company that produces vapes or some other accessory would also be very exciting. I've already done some research and looked at various job bords like 420careers. I guess what i'm asking is if anyone here has any connections/has heard of someone who is looking for people with my background at the moment. Or if you know of any cool companies based in the US that I should look into. Thanks ahead of time for the advice.
I think you're just being sarcastic...but actually not a horrible idea. open up some sort of munchie shop that caters to the stoner crowd. Not the first to think of something like this, but good out of the box answer. Insomnia cookies already does pretty well in NYC, but I'm sure it's going to do even better as laws ease up and the number of smokers increases.
I'm a freelance/SEO writer. I've written for some of the up-and-coming pot tourism companies in the past year. There will be more and more of these businesses soon, and I imagine they will all need writers, web designers, marketing people, etc. Since I'm self employed I can't really offer advice about working for a company, but if you do get into freelance work, you might come across pot-related stuff fairly often. You could just try to find as many pot-related businesses as you can, and then approach them personally and ask if they need any work done.
