im sorry im a bit baked and the thread i was reading was locked so i can't ask there

    but i'm a bit confused

    edit: here the topic http://forum.grasscity.com/apprentice-tokers/1324440-where-find-weed-christian-high-school.html

at what age people are sophomore in US high schools? maybe my country's education system is different, but high school starts at 10th grade, sophomore is 11th grade. half the people going in these classes are already 18 by the mid-end of it, the rest few age up during summer or senior class (which I assume is meant as 12th grade, the 3rd year in high school lol high school hahaha), so why was he banned and assumed to be below 18?

im going to be senior when school year starts in september, but i'm already 18 ages ago. and i started at an usual age. does europe/northern europe have a different education system than us and sophomores are some people earlier because US has less years in school (so like 11 or 10 or something?) or what?

    confused #help # swag #yolo #420 #blazeitfaggot

sucking on a sore throat & cough sucking table so i can help my throat get rid of the irritation from ganja haha. otherwise coughing like fuck, damn annoying. been sick for like a month now in summer, and I can't get well because of work where I need to constantly be in 10-15C degrees conditions, so I'm always cold, dressing more doesnt help cuz my hands, face and neck still gotta be nude yknow (except special food-handling non-latex one-use gloves which don't really keep you warm lol not made for it yknow what im saying ??? you know what im saying???????????) just fucking coughed the tablet on my ekjyboard fuck

note to those who cant even read this becuz theyre stoned - i am not discussing/complaining about the moderator's decision in the soul of the post. the question is "what age is us sophomore year?" and "why does it differ from europe apparently because here it's 18 for sophomore?" I was just confused because I thought he might be around 18 and then he was banned and I didn't know why and I didn't know what us soiphomore year is yeah age.

the mod's decision is the context, i might just as well have not added the thread in at all because it's not being discussed here, but is given as an example and source of my question so incase someone cant read it from my post can read it from the thread or something like that

  3. In the US, high school starts at grade 9 and goes through 12

grade 9 (freshman): 14/15 years old
    grade 10(sophomore [the banned user's grade]: 15/16
    grade 11(junior): 16/17
    grade 12(senior): 17/18

This is assuming you were not held back or have a birthday landing just before or after an enrollment cut off date. but that's the standard over here.

  7.

    see post #3

  8.
ooh! so they start at grade 9, that makes sense! we have the elementary school ending exams in grade 9, then high school ending exams at 12.

and why is your grade 12 at 18 maximum? in my education system it'll be 19 around here.

at what age do you start school? do you people go to kindergartens, are they obligatory & at very very low age or what?

  9. this may be the problem.

  10.
dude what are you even talking about

im not arguing their decision you smartypants are you stoned off your mind u cant even read my post :D

i am asking what sophomore is high school age at, which was already answered, because im confused as fuck, because sophomore in my country is around 18, so i was wondering why did they instantly assume that he's under 18 and for someone to explain to me the differences in US education system from Europe in regards to high school ages/years.

  11.
    :hippie: :hippie:

  12.
Kindergarten starts at age 5, then from there it's 1st-4th grade for elementary, 5th-8th for middle school and 9th-12th for high school. Some people have their children go to preschool from like age 3 and above but it's not something everybody has to do.

There are a few cases where someone will be 19 in the 12th grade, depending on their birthday, but the way that the grades are decided it's almost always age 17 going into senior year and turning 18 during it.

  13. dude wake up

i am not discussing the mod's decision in the post
