Cannabutter From Hand Rubbed Hash?

    Can I make cannabutter from really good hand rubbed hash? If so do I need to make small pieces out of the has to put in the butter or just the whole lump in?
    And also how much hash to how much butter?

    Personally I wouldn't use Black hash for edibles, lots of impurities. It would work, but probably taste awful. As for how much, that's almost impossible for us to be sure of because we don't know the potency.

    Noooo, you can filter any hash into a dabbable substance with 0 impurities pretty easily, I'm pretty sure even if you didn't do that the only thing that would change is taste.

    I hadn't considered that any hash could be purified, but I stand by my comment that I wouldn't use black to cook, I'd purify it first if I had the means.

    Yup and I agree with you, reg hash in edibles is kinda gross if not strained into butter so to OP: either do Iso alcohol\\ethanol and let it evap after filtered through coffee filters should get out most of the gunk out, then make some butter with the product. Make sure you decarb too

    @[member="JaysForDays"] - I wouldn't prefer to do a iso run. The hash is very potent, amongst the best you get here , it was even voted "the best smoke" in Amsterdam. I wont use it now , but i thought of this because the shwag here is really really awful.
