Anyone else an avid Vibram wearer? I've had my Spyridon MR's for 3 weeks now and I have to tell you they are comfortable as hell. Especially when I got the right size lol. An EMS employee sold me a size 40 in the KSO EVO's, and I thought that was my size. Bought size 40 in the Spyridon MR's and they hurt the hell out of my feet. Anyway, these things have done miracles for my lower back now that I walk correctly, instead of leveraging my shoes.
i fucking love my vibrams. i have the super minimal ones and they're rad. i was soo sore the first time i ran in them. i had to walk up stairs sideways for 3 days
I love my vibrams! people are always questioning me about them and I just say they are so comfortable I forget I am wearing them and feel barefooted.
I wear size 14 and it seem like they don't have it in my size. I wear Nike free 3.0. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Do you think they have vibrams in size 14 lol? I'm trying to jump rope barefoot soon so I can see the veins popping out my feet lol. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Where's @[member="Omega369"] at? I prefer being actually barefoot, and often am. I'm not sure I'd wear those, but I do really like the aforementioned Nike Free shoes.
When I first start sprinting in Nike Free 3.0, my feet was hurting like I tore some muscle lol. I waited a day to be sure but I was still feeling the pain. I sprint again but took it slow this time and the pain was gone. Stoner Athlete Train Insane or Remain The Same.
I saw the title and all I could think of was his legendary thread I've never owned them or anything too similar, so I'm pretty much useless regarding advice, sorry. My feet are flatter than piss on a plate, would the minimalist style shoes be a blessing or a curse for someone flat-footed?
you are flat footed because the arches of you're feet don't have any strength. I think minimalist shoes would work out really well for you, but would hurt very much at first. its like saying I will never lift weights because I slouch. both are related directly to A. posture and B. strength. in this case walking barefoot or in minimalist shoes would increase both arches and back posture.
IMO they are great. Recently did big hike to 13k /backpacking trip in them. Very surprised i had no blisters or any issues. Even with the forty lbs i was lugging. I wear them to the gym also and prefer them for lifting.
