Hey GC!! I hope someone can shed some light on this... Here's my op... Growing Original Blueberry, ScrOG, 5 weeks into flower DWC in 5gal bubble buckets using GH nutes in a 4x4x7 tent About 18 inches from 600w HPS cool tube R/O water only, using lucas formula, 0/8/16 temp: avg 78f ambient, 80f canopy pH: Set at 5.4 and once it raises to about 6.2, I lower it back to 5.4 Here's the deal... I can't for the life of me figure out what the problem is. During veg and for the beginning of flower the pH was consistent. I'd set it at 5.4 and in two days it would hit 6.2 / 6.3 and i'd lower it back to 5.4... Now, Its hitting 6.7 from 5.4 in less than one day! Any reason it would jump so quickly?! I think it may have something to do with whats causing the problem with the plant... I've searched 420, GC, google, you name it... ive tried flushing for 24hrs with clean R/O, with an h2o2 mixture, ive tried changing the nutrient solution completely instead of just topping off and adjusting pH... I cant even remember what else ive tried... but nothing seems to be working and Im at a loss. What do you guys think this looks like? wtf is going on?! Thanks for any help!!!!!
It looks to be coming along fucking fantastic! What seems to be the problem? Because, I must say, they look amazing!
I think he is freaking out because of the yellow leaves. Which is probly because hydro ph is 5.8 not 5.4. See graph. As you can see 5.4 is where you lose N uptake. As for your ph swings i haven't a clue. But i would imagine ph'ing to 5.8 would help. I'm a soil guy so i can only help do much. Also if you are a week or 2 before harvest, you want your plant to look like that. They look beast.
I can't believe I missed that. Haha sorry just woke up! I was just going by the look of things. Either way, hopefully someone can help; haven't tried hydro yet. Looking beautiful though
Yes, This is exactly why im freaking out lol... I'm not trying to put it to an exact day, but I have like 4 weeks left of flower before I harvest! The leaves shouldn't be turning yet. Im afraid its a nutrient problem or something...
Other than the pH being somewhat low which didn't seem to bother your plants, red tipped leaves and yellowing are often signs of zinc deficiency. It can cause your leaves and new growth to twist and wrinkle as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Your grow is beautiful though!! A great example of a scrog. how many plants is that? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
You are going to need to import some slaves to finish all of that trimming, there must be over 200 colas there. Good luck on the grow.
Damn good shit! So did you top it a few times during veg? How long did it veg? Sorry just very curious Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Looks like she is pulling nitrogen/food from her leaves, are you close to harvest? If so that's perfectly fine and I would start feeding with plain h2o. I have heard of folks giving their girls ice cold water before harvest? Can anyone shed some light on this? Maybe to trick her into thinking winter is coming and to push out maximum trichs? Beautifully crafted scrog too man. Sent from the Planet Mars
No, I did not top her. I vegged for quite a while... 3 months to get her the size I wanted. Harvest time is here in about a week so I'm not worried and thanks for the compliment... It was some work! Sent from my SM-N900V using Grasscity Forum mobile app
So you bent the plant over at the main stem and let the secondary colas grow or what? I am confused as to how so many fat colas can be produced without topping. All I know is, you sir are a pro.
