Rockwool is really good in rdwc but in dwc there is no point in having it. You only open yourself up for problems adding things that aren't needed. I start all my seeds in soil and then transplant into hydroton about 1 1/2 weeks after sprout.

I'm not saying it doesn't work I'm saying that the is no PURPOSE of having it in a stand alone 5 gallon bucket. It might not cause problems for you but it has for several others and it might happen to you down the road. I was just saying that to elimate a future problem that could possibly happen, get rid of the rockwool. More of facts. Majority of growing is opinionated, I agree. Mold,bug,mildew problems related to dwc and rockwool are things that happen to new growers ALL the time.

I was thining about strawberry diesel but I know a lot of people that grow it on here. I wanna make a blueberry diesel. Eventually (maybe I'll have it done before the next outdoor season) I want to do a "rainbow" diesel. SD is my favorite and if I can make it last longer and become more potent while i'm dialing in the strain that would be great.

So big update Some days ago I got a air pump at the store And so I made the transition to my hydro bucket And unfortunately the pineapple had to be harvester because of the smell So I ordered 3 northern light seeds and because royal queen seeds is so awesome I got a free grinder and another free seed But my only question is if I have 4 plants in dwc do I have to increase the amount of nutes I give???
