I always used to grow a few fem seeds, give em a long veg phase in large pots.

This time I wanna give reg seeds a try and figured I would pop 33 seeds and hook em up to my Coco drain to waste system. They will fit in my DarkRoom 120 (4 x 4) although they will be packed, by the time they show sex, I should end up with give or take 16 fems.
Given the short veg period of 20 to 25 days, I wanted to ask u guys if a 2 gal pot would make a significant difference in yield, compared to 1 gal pots?

I'd prefer 1 gal pots cuz i have to use less water and would give me more room between the plants to, but if the yield would suffer, I will go with 2 gal pots.

However, another factor I will consider is the final size of the plants. The tent only provides a limited space, and i'm not sure if plants in 2 gal pots will have a tendency to fill that space more than plants in 1 gal pots.

An alternative idea is, let em grow in 1 gal pots, switch to 12/12 and once they show sex I will repot the fems in 2 gal pots.
But i'm not sure if it's a good idea to stress them during early flowering like that, or if its even worth the trouble.

    Thanks!

  2. id do half 2 gallon half 1 gallons or as many 2 galloners as you can..bigger the roots bigger the fruits. im growing in 1 galloners now and get about 1 oz average. ive grown in 2 gallons before and averaged 2 oz's
