Can Badly Timed Use Of Pk Boosters Actually Cause A Reduction In Yield?

  1. when I was looking for information on how to properly use my Canna PK 13/14 booster , I learned that the best time to use them is during the second half of the flowering cycle ,
I also seen people saying that PK boosters  are  very shocking for the plant and they force her to finish up her flowering cycle so using them at the wrong time can reduce  yield rather than increase it,
IM growing a pakistan ryder autoflower and shes on day 56 and her buds havent started to swell up yet,
ive having been gradually increasing her dosage of the booster  over the weeks but still keeping it very light,
grow journals of this strain usually harvest someitme between day 56 and day 70
the question: could I have inhibited her growth by using that PK booster before the buds had a chance to really swell up?

  2. pk boosters are usually used for one week at week five of flower. i don't see how using a fert, could/would inhibit/shock a plant. all you're doing is increasing the pk. you do need to remember to reduce your base nutes though.
