Fl Mmj Opponents, Really?

Discussion in 'Marijuana News' started by левша, Aug 11, 2014.

  1. So, my thought is..."What's new?"

It'll get much worse before the vote in November...the only thing we can do is to be sure to get out the vote.

I wonder sometimes if the reported 88% backing MMJ in Florida isn't misreported in order to make supporters feel like it's a done
deal and not worrying about voting...

I'm a registered Florida voter as are my 2 sons, wife, daughter and sister in law...and we'll all be voting YES on 2...

  2. I haven't really been a researcher amongst the floridas legalization process, and that link I posted was as in depth as I've been. I normally just follow the ones posted here when they come along, thought I'd just add something and I was mostly surprised about the "STRAIGHT inc"
And yes, it's so very hard to believe the bashers on marijuana still exist.. The founders are just interesting in $ and confusing the public to back them against the informed. As we all know, but I used to think it was simply ignorance. I was the ignorant one thinking it was that simple those years ago.
Maybe this link will help enlighten those still there.

Why are you voting for it? I am planning to hit one of these seminars on opening a dispensary to help people in medical situations like me.

Just changed my residency on my pay stub and turned over my license to get a FL one yesterday.

  4. OK....?

  5. Just ask you why you were voting for it, did I confuse the point that much? No problem, too many people these days jump on bandwagons for popularity. 67% is my estimate of it passing. 88% is the current research numbers. I doubt that many people will be motivated by medical marijuana to get over 70%. I hope to be wrong

  6. Look at how old and crumpled up those opponents are.  They won't win. 88% of Floridians want legal weed. The times, they are a changin.

  7. So you're not a registered Florida voter?

  8. Registered yesterday when I swapped out my TN license for a FL one. I am about to retire from the military after 32 years.  I was stunned when I found out that if you select unaffiliated as a party you could only vote in national primaries. The closed voting is a bit anti-freedom to me. I would like the ability to vote for or against someone without changing parties.

  9. There are many old and crumpled guys like me who support medical marijuana or even recreational for that matter. You would be surprised how many youngsters that still do not know what their sexual organs are capable of oppose legalization.

  10. Ok please explain to me how a sex organ can oppose legalization. Thank you.

    you don't know? Figures..

  12. William stood his ground at the office of the DEA in Washington DC, His penis began demonstrating why cannabis should be legal. He .....

LMAO I can't do this lol

  13. I don't know if I would move to FL for prop. 2 ( I live here already) seeing as you won't be able to grow at all and all the dispensaries are going to be state owned and driven... :( Its about the money for them not the need to actually help.  But I suppose we have to start somewhere.

  14. Crazy when I read the current rules. I wanted to go to one of those seminars because I am considering opening a dispensary. LOL, you got to be rich, connected, and established. Check this out: http://www.mpp.org/states/florida/FL-CBD-bill-summary.pdf

  15. Yup, and sadly that has nothing to do with Prop 2, that is for the Charlotte's Webb strain that Scott passed in hopes to tank Prop 2... Hopefully that won't work.  Currently, I don't even think the Webb will be grown here, that is why he made it so hard to qualify in the first place to grow it... I mean you need to be in business for 30 years as a licensed business and have 5 million bucks to back the endeavor...

Here's to hoping the Peoples Will win's the day and not the meanderings of a politician.

  16. Duh. Those seminars are like a grand. For what. It's a joke. Hope you have a million bucks to make your dreams come true

  17. Oh no, we're all waiting on this one gramps, you brought it up.

hahaha, the fun watching of youthful indiscretion. The yutes who don't know what to do with their dicks or vaginae are making poor and hasty judgments about us old wrinkly people.

  19. And the elders who don't remember how/when they use their genitalia, make hasty decisions about the younger generation.

The question is how youthfull genitalia dictate whether or not they oppose legalization.
