    Agritek Holdings, Inc. (AGTK)
In July, the company announced a $400,000 cash infusion from a private equity fund(Monsanto) in order to expand its Mont Bluntâ„¢ marketing campaign and begin building out its Colorado-based agricultural facility.
A few days following that announcement, the company executed a long-term lease agreement of an additional 40 acres in Pueblo, Colorado, bringing its total land holdings to over 120 acres zoned for its planned agricultural and cultivation facility located in Pueblo County, Colorado. In addition, AGTK executed a long-term non-federal water rights contract for 10 years, which gives it a distinct advantage in attracting tenants.
By profiting from both the growing and distribution of high-grade cannabis products, the company provides investors with a unique legal way to capitalize(monopolize) on the industry.
Our scalable model will allow us develop a long term strategy of building a real property asset portfolio in key jurisdictions including Washington State and Nevada

The Company's CEO B. Michael Friedman was featured in a one on one interview with CBS News on Friday, May 23, 2014 discussing Florida's new medical marijuana legislation. Mr. Friedman was invited on the featured segment to discuss the Company's role in Florida regarding new pending medical cannabis legislation and the 20 acres of agricultural land zoned for nursery and the potential use of the property should legislation move forward within the state.

So it seems clear to me the plan is to monopolize Florida Colorado Washington and Nevada.
Then the world......is this not what history has show to be true??

  5. Whether it is the true x factor or not... I know many who are anti GMO/monsanto will boycott their products out of principle.

Others will not mind grabbing mass produced, irradiated weed and that is their journey. Much like the cig smokers who ignore the fact that big tobacco uses radioactive fertilizer.

  6. If they can do genetically what they do with food this will be amazing for those who do not want to bother growing, the lazy ass 99% LOL!!

I have an ounce or so of seeds- various strains. Monsanto can keep their "franken-weed"! I won't be buying any!

I'll just keep on doing what I have been doing for the last 15 straight years! Growing my own for about $20 an ounce! Somehow, I think Monsanto is just too freakin' greedy to match my cost!

You might want to start a little seed collection for yourself!

  8. Silly question, but how long can seeds last if in an airtight bag?

  9. this was probably my biggest fear with legalization, quality of bud decreasing

and with the other "quality" work mansanto has done, it wouldnt surprise me to see them produce strains of bud that actually caused all the old propoganda to suddenly be "proven true"
motives or lack thereof... wont say my opinion on that but i would not be surprised to see mansanto cannabis cause various health problems

I once found a jar of seeds packed away in a box- an ounce or so. Not one of them could have been under 10 years old- some were 20 years old!   I got 4 survivors. That was with zero care in storing. If you keep them in a cool, dark, dry place, they will keep 5 years and still produce a reasonable number of seedlings. After that, the numbers start dropping off.

What I plan to do with any excess old seeds is to grow out a male and female of each kind. Then I can replenish my stock with fresh seeds, good to go for another 5 to 10 years.  And then I think I'll go for a nice little hike in some secluded area just before a good spring-time storm!   :ey:

  11. You would be lucky to have them get in with the current growers. http://www.naturalcuresnotmedicine.com/2014/05/monsanto-plans-patent-genetically-modified-marijuana-brand-uruguay.html

This will be the best thing to happen from a lobbying perspective. A company can throw billions at lawmakers. Start sucking up now so you can suck it down later, likelt the best weed ever invented!

Friedberg, Climate Corp.'s 34-year-old co-founder and CEO, is aware of this concern. He's a lifelong vegetarian who will talk with little prompting about the environmental cost of meat and the great benefit of adding quinoa to North American crop rotations. He hadn't heard many good things about Monsanto before he started negotiating with the company. What he realized, though, is that the best way to think about Monsanto is as a technology company. Its technology “just happens to take the form of a seed,” Friedberg says. “As I got to learn about it I was like, ‘Wow, this company is as innovative and as impressive as Google.' ”

  12.  Here is about 1,600 I grew this year so far and have many more stashes and more seed plants to harvest.

Im going to have 10,000 seeds by the end of summer seed crops are almost all done. The big plants are just now starting to flower and will be sinsemilla.

  13. I love how so many people think everyone in the us can just easily grow, has the time and money and own their own property to do so..

  14. if you have a house you can grow pot. Time is irrelevant thats up to the person because if it truly matters to them they will make the time

  15. Yeah the assumption everybody here thinks that everybody has the ability to grow there own is beyond frustrating, its nieve and considering some of laws that some states have for just possession, forget cultivating, is just plain unintelligent.

  16. Weed ninjas are everywhere. I bet you boss has his own grow tent and can't wait to get home to tend to his babies.

  17. everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die! :hide:

  18. As a consumer, you have all the power! Be self sufficient and self reliant! They depend on people having "excuses", it is what enables them to do what they do! Peace!

  19.
It all started years back in a closet/garage/basment/attic etc or ninja plants in the forest for pretty much everyone I ever met who took it serious enough to make it what they do.
