Metal Halide have less lumens but are good for growing. I use my hand too. They were a bit hot. I need one clamp and a 4" to 6" duct for the intake fan. 90 cfm duct fan. Plenty of air to move around that small closet. I had heat too hot my thermometer got moved. Ugh. They are coming back. A good watering an temp change. Up the exhaust fan. Well I guess that's why they are so small. WTF. I'M PISSED. LOL I did the bulbs too quick. The Kelvin of MH and HPS can vary and mine were Grow HPS and Bloom MH. I have had MH on them. Only 10 to 15% of its energy was grow spectrum where as the HPS is 90%. That's why this is my first grow journal with these bulbs and set up. I am upset at me for not paying more attention. I wondered why they were stunted. They should be double the size now. Well it's all out for bloom. Lol. I'm pulling out the UVB bulbs. My HPS says grow. Ugh. Everywhere else is 240 we have 120. So I have to have my fan at low then when it kicks on at 10 am I can turn it up to high. 15 amp and a 20 plus amp pull to start on high. It won't let my light go on so I have a 10 Guage three wire extension cord plugged into the lights. So my babies are small for almost two months. I had the bulbs swapped. Oh well. I used UVB bulbs throughout my last two grows and I got mad terpenes. Increases thc. My WW is a two hit done. My other ones are 15%+ thc plus some cbds. UVB is pure sun light.
