Michigan Doctor That Allows You To Leave With Meds?

    I live in Metro Detroit and am looking for a doctor that allows you to leave with meds the same day.  Any recommendations?  I am willing to go to Ann Arbor if necessary.

    I believe that in Michigan you are legal as of the day your doctor recommends MMJ. My understanding is that while waiting for your state card, your paperwork is verification of your recommendation.

    Leave with the meds? You get MMJ directly from a doctor? I think I mis-understood.

    I'm a little late to the conversation, but the Ann Arbor Health Collective has a physician on-site each Thursday evening and allows you to purchase after being approved. I was approved this past Thursday and made my first purchase (with a free joint!) that night.
