Oh ha I guess it might be cool to see the whole set up huh. Whoops. So this is not a real set up just a temporary fix for my problem. I ghettoly rigged it up under a ladder with USPS box and some wire with sockets. I'm no electrician but I thinks it's safe. Not quite code tho. What kind of criticism does the city have for me today? Not sure why, but I like your getto setup oh you can get another ladder, couple 2x4 going across to suspend the lights and get a bigger grow area. Maybe get some panda film and make a tent to keep in some light? http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1316222-4x4-led-wild-thai-seed-second-grow.html#entry20304616
Haha it will do for now. I plan to move them to the HPS room pretty soon. I'm going to start training program tonight so hopefully in about a week I will be putting them into 12/12 under the HPS. I'm so anxious for my first harvest. Blunts, Bitches and Banjos
Here we go! I finally started the training program! Blue Cheese to start us off: I tied this big girl down in 6 places. She doing great growing big with nice firm stems. I'm hoping she's a big producer. Here are some pics. Next up Purple Trainwreck: She's doing good too not quite as hearty as if hoped but her new growth is looking flawless. I've decided since she is such a sativa dominant girl I'm going to throw her in the flower room with my girl that's getting close to chop time. I didn't want to deal with such a long flower time again the one I have now is going to take 12-13 weeks and that's to long for me. It was a bagseed so I had no idea what I was getting myself into. At last here's the pics and probably the only part of this anyone looks at anyway. Blunts, Bitches and Banjos
Back for another update. PT has been in 12/12 for 3 weeks now. She's looking great and stretching nicely. I've still been a bit leery about giving her nutes since the burn early in her life. Anyway here's some pics. The Blue Cheese is looking damn fine as well. I just put this one in 12/12 last night when I harvested my other girl. Much darker leaves than the PT. She's going to be a real nice bush. Have a look. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
Thanks! It's crazy how much better they look compared to my bagseed. You can really see the genetics. The PT already has good trichromes development and the bagseed never really made very many. Blunts, Bitches and Banjos
Well PT is still looking great. Nice looking bud sites on her. Trichs are coming in full force as well. Blue cheese is getting a bit out of control! She's huge! And still stretching a bit! Overall looking pretty damn healthy. I've got to say I'm pretty amazed the difference some good genetics make. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
Hey, i went back looking... Do you have a pic of then you 1st flipped to flower? I am growing in lowes buckets as well but my plant is not nearly as big as yours... What kind of training did you do? A blunt a day keeps the doctors away!
Ignore that. I found my answers... I guess i should veg longer. Hw long do you veg? A blunt a day keeps the doctors away!
To be honest I was shooting for about a month but the unexpectedly had a female so I pushed veg a bit longer untill she finished. The blue cheese I think was in veg for almost 2months. During that 2 months I topped a lot of times and then did a bit of LST as well. I'm going to have to figure out a way to tie her down more she stretched a lot in the first 2 weeks or so of 12/12. Depending on the end result I may only run 1 plant next time and just veg for 2 or 3 months and get her huge. Was thinking about doing a ScrOG too. Blunts, Bitches and Banjos
Another update PT is having some sort of issues. Not exactly sure but I think it is calmag deficiency. I've ordered some it should be here tomorrow so we will see if that helps. I'm going to Austin for the weekend so I will be away for a few days. It's always nice to come home and see how they've changed. There's a few pics of the leaves. If anyone has any ideas what the problem could be I would appreciate some feedback. The blue cheese has really had no problems at all throughout her life. Truly is an easy to grow strain just as the breeder claimed. Hopefully it is a big yielded like they claimed as well! She's just starting to flower. I can't wait for her to start to stink. PT reeeeeeeks! Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
Quick update before I leave town for the weekend. I'm hoping the girls will be alright without water that long. I fed PT a little calmag so let's see if it helps. I also watered really well this morning. BC is looking very healthy and monstrous. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
The PT actually took it well the Blue Cheese not so much. I think her size had a big role in that tho. She dropped very hard and I had to tie her branches up to support them. But she is recovering very well. I've been meaning to update I just have been getting stuck at work untill the lights go off but I'm off tomorrow so I will update the journal then. Glad someone other than me is actually even looking at this. Blunts, Bitches and Banjos
Finally time for another update. The long weekend was a little hard on the blue cheese but the PT seemed to handle it just fine. I have given them both some calmag and tiger bloom nutes. PT is developing nice buds that appear to be fairly dense and covered in trichromes. The Blue Cheese suffered a bit from the drought. She had recovered pretty well but needed some support in a few places. I think she will be fine. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
Interesting, I'm running a blue cheese, and it seems pretty delicate, not nearly as happy and healthy as my other 7 plants. Tomorrow is 4 weeks from "flip" and it just really yellowed out this week. http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1341205-solar-spec-1040-white-led-vs-mars-ii-2100.html#entry20859361
