New Psychedelic Synth Covers With Video

  1. Here's two more jams I recorded today, I hope you like them!   First one is a cover of one of my favourite Nirvana tunes, the second is my take on a classic Police song.  Let me know what you think!    (lots of bass, will need speakers to fully appreciate)  :)

  3. Nice man the Walking on the Moon cover was really cool, you ever think about having remix competitions with any of your tracks?

  4.
Thanks man  :)  No, haven't thought about that at all.....I'm actually a guitar player that just recently caught the synth/drum machine bug and have only been mucking about with electronic music for about a month.  For right now, it's just about having fun and making a little noise  :)

Yeah I feel ya there, I like to experiment with all kinds of genres. I wish I could get a setup like you, I love that analog sound.

There's no substitute for that fat, juicy analog sound......it's great to see companies start putting out awesome analog gear again.   Took me years to save up for everything in my studio, but you don't have to break the bank to get that analog goodness.  Check out the Korg Volca range (the little boxes I'm playing with in my videos)...they are a series of 3 analog synths/sequencers.  There's the Volcas Beats (analog drum machine), Bass (basically a new version of the classic Roland 303), and Keys (3-voice analog polysynth with 6 different modes and a delay), and they all sync together, sound awesome and are also super cheap!   They are only $140 each, which is just absurdly cheap for what you get and how amazing they sound.  On top of that, they can run on AA batteries so you can take them anywhere......they freaking rock   :)

I just found a vintage Roland TR-707 drum machine and spent the day incorporating it into my setup.  Ended up doing a little cover of one of my favourite Nine Inch Nails tunes:
