How Well Do Turbine Perks Work?

    Turbine/hurricane/whirlpool percs

    How well do they work?

    Not to be confused with tornado percs which are tiny holes in the body of the bong that create a spinning air vortex inside the bong

    Turbine perks are great, I have had the privilege to smoke out of two different turbine perc'd bongs. One was a double turbine perc straight tube made by bent glass, it pulled very nicely and spun the water effectively.
     
    The second one was a dab rig with a single turbine, this piece also hooted really nice.
     
    So far I have not heard of any complaints with turbine perc'd pieces.

    Turbine percs have their place,  Mostly for looks and work well with oil rigs..... as for flower there are many other percs which can achieve greater diffusion for equal or lesser cost.

    Your friend might be confused with glycerin coils.

    1407425203706.jpg I got a turbine "splashguard" which does a great job of of cackblocking the stack from the double honeycombs

    You gotta really be hitting that shit to get any water on your mouth so I guess it does its job
