  1. I got arrested for driving down the highway with a half pound in Battle Creek Michigan. Facing a 4 year felony.

  2. well it is illegal here in the mitten. hopefully not for long.

  3. Sorry to hear that man. That sucks. Hopefully, they aren't that strict with you.

  4.
You will walk probation and a fine. They cant afford to house you over some weed.

    Relax.

  5. Depends on how many drug related crimes he has already committed.

  6. Hope they do not have mandatory minimums! Uhhggg! It sucks when they take away judicial prudence from a judge.

  7. Your thread title says intent to sell. Did you have it all baggied up with a scale in the car and a shitload of cash on you? If so, then yeah, thats a felony. If you had any weapons you are double fucked.

  8. And baggy pants! you are through!

  9. A good lawyer could get you down to a simple possession charge as Michigan law doesn't have different penalties for different weights. If it's also your first offense you could luck out and get a conditional discharge. It's all dependent on circumstances though. Did you have it in many separate baggies as another poster asked? Have a scale on you? Michigan is a medical state, and a half pound is an amount a caregiver with enough patients could legally possess.

Definitely get a good lawyer but don't give up hope. You might not be totally fucked. Good luck from a fellow Michigander.
