Unless it is southern Florida Thanksgiving would be way too late. I don't grow outside but I am assuming 90% of people have harvested before Halloween. Where I live I have seen Halloween @ 75F and then 25F the next year. The end of October brings weird weather.
my harvest is mid-September this year for my pre-98's, and late November-early December for my Skunk Haze & Peaches. Im in socal & harvest is really strain dependent, and even sometimes personal preference.

The people around here (Smokey Mountains area) say they like to harvest right after the first frost. A buddy of mine that lives in central Florida can grow pretty much year round. Each plant takes him about 3 months. Seems like climate is a big part of the equation
