that is sold in the streets?me personally i find it stronger...not quite as cerebral in a recreation standpoint, but very comparable and MUCH better and cleaner high overall....i'm racking my brain trying to find a difference...i've tried 4 different strains(girl scout cookies)being the best so far and the most stoning and euphoric...but i can't put myfinger on what the difference is.....the difference is so  miniscule it's a very barely noticeable thing..the weed still gets you high and relaxed...it's like it's their but not quite there if you know what i mean...lol...maybe some other medical users can help me out..it's almost like it's a clearer and stonier type of high without some of the amped up raciness associated you get with some street weed...just very clean, relaxing, and euphoric    at times but not over the top

  2. marijuana is marijuana, medical is simply a label that implies better care for the plant. so yes, street weed and medical weed are very similar, theyre the same plant. that said, mary jane is incredibly varied, the high is never identical from one plant to the next.

  3. thanks man...i've asked around and i've heard different theories the majority say it gets you just ashigh as street stuff....others say it doesn't some say it blows it out of the water....i fail to see the difference between the two of them quite honestly they both give a potent high to varying degrees. ..like you said weed is weed

  4. the effects differ from strain to strain and from person to person. the word medical has almost nothing to do with it. you can however find dispensary's that have organic cannabis and that's a huge difference from what you will find on the street. In a few years medicinal cannabis will be a thing of the past. it will be legal in America. I know it will be it is only a matter of time.

so to answer the question the major differences you will find from medical than the street is quality control, proper strain identification, and a limited immunity from the arbitrary laws.  cannabis is cannabis and it will always be just cannabis.

one more thing...i've also read that  and see people  generalize that alot of medical strains have more cbd(which is less psychoactive) to thc content...the ones i've picked up at least 4 out of the 5 have had at least 17-24 percent thc,....so i'm confused where the cbd thing comes in...i still felt the normal "high"so to speak from what i purchased as much as i have with street stuff(i had the pronounced body buzz, some paranoia,at times mental euphoria and giggles from a couple strains)...is it just particular strains that have more cbd etc?i just wanna make sure....so when i hit up another dispensary that i'm not picking up those type of strains..(the cbd)ones

  6. well as far as TODAY goes, finding amazing herb is so easy. it wasn't like that 10 or 15 years ago. you just never knew what it was that would end up in your bag. now a days though pretty much everyone and their grandma's are growing killer bud. i still think i have gotten better quality on average with a dispensary then when going to a dealer. but i know a couple of growers now so getting the best buds / colas is available to me. those same growers supply the dispensaries.

the one thing i like is the specialty products you find in dispensaries. from edibles to extracts there is something for everyone today.
