First Time Making Bho. How Does It Look?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Stash Box' started by Kushmasta69, Aug 1, 2014.

  1. So yesterday I made some bho. I used a quarter oz of dank bud, colibri butane, a stainless steel turkey baster, and a non bleached coffee filter. I grinded my herb, filled the tube and blasted 1/4 a can onto a Pyrex dish that was on top of a bigger Pyrex dish with hot but not boiling water. I refilled the water twice until it didn't bubble anymore scraped it on some parchment paper and this is what I got. Its pretty dark (I'm thinking because i grinded up my shit) and it had a weird consistency. It was hard but not like shatter hard it was still malleable. So what do you guys think? And what could I do next time to get a better result.

more purging.....get a pot with water just under a boil or a low heat heating tray or a vac system if you wanna do it right and and then put that shit in a pyrex sitting across the top of the pot/heat...it will bubble more...slowly but surely

  4. I never use a grinder! I old school bust it up! For the first run I make the consistency a little more larger then I would for rolling a joint. I purge using water baths and heat(electric griddle). Temps I use to purge are between 105F-120F(product). I generally purge for no less then 36 hours. When done is what dictates this, but as I said, that is close to 36 hours. The stringiness and dark color are impurities. Low and slow, is the way to go! Like B-B-Q! Stok makes 8oz. cans of N-Butane which is 99.995% pure. The version they produce in the U.K. is not quite as pure, but close! Peace! :bongin:
