I was looking at pens but they don't seem to really be made just for herb. Are they any portable ones around $200 or less than ARE made just for weed? I don't want some rinky dink shit either.
T-Vape 2.0.............179.99 Even though the T-Vape, in my opinion, is the best pen for vaporizing dry herbs, there are other portables, some even cheaper, that do a much better job, but they are not pens.
I got the pax for 250 and it works well for me. I have brought it into a few concerts with no problems. It heats up quickly, holds a lot, and it is small and easy to conceal. It works well for herb and I use it whenever I go out. The taste and amount of vapor produced is impressive as well.
Umm..........I don't consider the Pax as a pen vape simply because it is much bigger than any pen that I have ever seen. Doesn't even look like a pen plus the OP said he wants to spend 200 dollars or less.
I know OP says pen as well, but the title is best portable vape, I listed one, he said around 200 or less, 250 is around 200.
Pinnacle pro is a good pen not really for dry herbs but pens are mainly for waxes oils and concentrates. A good portable would be MFLB, cheapest. Moderate arizer solo. Over budget but best in my opinion Davinci ascent. While all are good they have their querks as with any vape..... Depends upon what your use is and what materials you want to be made from ie. ceramic, metal. Also about all glass vapor and air path or just glass vapor path. And upon conduction and convection. Preferences are key to choosing the right vape. There are many many options for good reviews are other knowledge check out fuckcombustion.com they have multitudes of comparisons and trials giving breakdowns of the vapes your looking at. Wish you well
Can you provide any insight on the mlfb? Price looks good. I just wanna make sure I'm getting something decent/good.
Ya may want to check out the HUGE MFLB Appreciation Thread. TONS of satisfied users there. TONS. I've been vaping for over 6 years and have owned and used some of the best vapes on the market, both home and portable and my MFLB is in rotation with my LSV which are the only two vapes I am currently using. But even as good as I think it is for ME and as good as it is for all those others in that thread that I referenced above, it may not be the best for YOU. If you want a stealthy portable which puts out very little smell and is also very efficient with instant heat up times, and a lifetime warranty at a great price point and you are willing to spend a bit of time learning how to use it, the MFLB would be great choice. But, if you have a high tolerance and desire a heavy hitter, than the MFLB would not be a good choice. GrayFox made a good suggestion to do some research over at FC. what temp is it on? I don't really like the taste on red as much and usually stick to the green and yellow for taste.
It's medium- orange... I think I just smoke too much bud. Is that a sin??? Journal Link: http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1320174-first-organic-indoorgrow.html ... Lifted a Mile High

@[member="SilverStacks"] For Christ sake would you please stop inserting your signature in to the body of every damn post you make. That is defeating the whole point of having a signature on here.
dont have any worried when it comes to the MFLB with thousands backing it up they can't all be wrong. I can't recommend it enough for what it is you can't beat it. Price is great it's stealthy, portable, reasonably discreet. Just gotta get past that learning curve and it'll be a life changer. You won't regret purchasing it. After all it has a lifetime warranty!! They have good customer service as well as many accessories. Any and everything you will ever need to make it yours water attachments and laser etching to cases and all replacement parts and chargers. 9/10 in my opinion. Only because of the learning curve.

My suggestions are: MFLB - As @[member="lwien"] stated earlier Firewood 2.1 - See my sig for a link for more info. Also a few satisfied users of the vape on here. Here's a link to my review of it in these forums. The Firewood is my current battery operated daily driver, and the MFLB is my traveller. And depending on how portable you want it... The Hammer or The Lotus - I just picked up a Hammer and got it in the mail yesterday. Its a butane powered portable and pretty versatile, but I wouldn't use it out in public. @[member="Steams71"] has a Lotus, which works more like a traditional pipe. There are a couple of other butane powered vapes out there but I haven't looked at them after being completely stoned by The Hammer. All of those vapes are under 200$ as well.
