Two New Gems For The Collection

  1. A goodwill run uncovered two vases that I was saving for a rainy day. Said rainy day has come. I give you Benjamin Franklin and Colorado Ribs. Ben Franklin has a carb on it that I will later fill with a grommet so no one has to fondle glass bits and Colorado Ribs has a fitted pill bottle ash catcher.

  2. Badass! I prefer the look of Benjamin Franklin, myself. :)

What'd you use to pop the holes in the glass?

  3. Wow that's awesome ! Even though I usually use store bought glass , I'll always love being creative and making cool fun things to smoke out of. So I have tons of respect for you and your talent friend !

  4. I used a 5/8th inch diamond drill bit for the downstem hole and a half inch for the carb, and personally, I dig Ben a lot more too! :)

Thanks man! It's always good to know people dig homemade things that you don't just throw out. Your respect is treasured!

  6. The green one is ok but you gonna be inhaling melted plastic on the pill bottle.

  7. Nice work way better quality then I usually see in the DIY section

  8. Not if you put a bowl in the downstem! I've been using doorstops for my aluminum downstems and it creates an air tight seal.

  9. Metal heats up and melts plastic

  10. I wish my drill wasn't in storage. I wanted to start making my own glass pieces. :/

  11. I had nearly the same design on an older piece and it didn't melt the plastic holding the other downstem in place or the vinyl tubing attaching it.
