So does putting a dab inside or along the finished joint severly reduce its use. It definitely gets me higher but im wondering if its a serious waste based on the heat of the burning compared to normal dabbing or anything else
I'm not sure if this is a mind over matter kind of thing. I don't believe putting a dab in a joint and lighting it regularly will make it hot enough to vaporize the wax. The blowtorch on the nail is much much hotter. Also if you put wax on only one side of the joint that side will burn slower than the other side and the joint will not burn evenly
I put a few small dabs around the joint. Never experienced a problem with it canoeing or anything. They do vaporize somewhat but they slowly melt down the paper leaving a trail of the dab resin or whatever you want to call it. like wax on a candle. I know it wont be as effective as just taking the dab but friends say it does make it a stronger high. Plus it is just something fun to do
another method is roll a joint and smoke as normal, then drip a little wax onto the ember and continue smoking. its a little bit tricky but you can keep adding them as you want onto your cherry.
Yes it's a waste... BUT, it gets you sooo stoned. Couple drops on top of a bowl is better. For me, kinda a blend between dab of good oil/wax and and Herb. Burning is bad. In fact you do not get any goodness from any of the weed that is burning, You get high from the THC NEXT to or near the burning area, via vaporiztion.
Why does everyone call oil/hash oil/an all concentrates dabs now? just call it oil, cant stand when people throw the name 'wax' on any form of oil, whether it really is wax or not lmao and smear it on the paper before rolling, most efficient way to do it.
New to "wax" in our area. I am finding that I use more with the nail then I do smearing some on a paper. There is an initial rush with the nail that is not there on a paper, but, my last few days have been much more pleasant smearing then "dabbing". The effects work better for what I'm using it for.
