Help Me With Making Oil

  1. So I've been trying to make weed oil for brownies, and I've tried two batches.. the second one a lot better than the first, but still not that potent. 

    1st attempt: Put in about 6grams of weed in my slow cooker, with enough grape seed oil to stir around (1/3 cup). I put it in for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
     
    These brownies tasted good, but didn't get you high at all! I ate 3 of them, and I barely felt anything.
     
    2nd attempt: Put in about 6 grams of weed, with enough grape seed oil to stir around (1/3 cup). I put it in for 14 hours this time, stirring occasionally.
     
    These tasted gross (too much oil I think), but is definitely more potent than the first batch.
     
    Do you guys have any tips for me to make better cannabis oil?

  2. Use butter and water in a crock pot 24 hours. strain the weed out and put in fridge to get solid. Dump the water and grab up the butter.
     
    The water takes the Yuck out!
     
  3. I heard from multiple sources on forums that oil seems to work a lot better than butter, why don't you use oil?
     
  4. what temperatures was it at?
     
  5. It was set to low the whole time on both attempts.
     
  6. you dont have a IR thermometer? get one so you can monitor what temperature your oil is
