Am I The Only One Who Has Extreme Anger Issues When I Lose?

  1. Im pretty sure every gamer does, but sometimes i get so close to breaking any and everything in sight when i lose. Since i play tekken tag 2 alot im always running into bullshit players and noobs online. And i play competitively(if i spelled it right) so of course i want to win. Its just...... Holy shit this game is frustrating. Im trying so hard not to break my playstation

  2. Just take a deep breath and remember "it's a fucking video game".

  3. i broke a controller once when i threw a pick to a d-lineman in madden.

  4. I used to play competitively, but remained calm and accepted my losses.

I had a friend a few provinces over who would go through a controller or headset in a week

  5. If a game makes you that angry why the hell did you pay for it? Playing a game competitively just leads to trouble in my book lol. That's why I periodically choose to play shooter games. I'm really skilled at Battlefield 3 but the more often you play it the more mistakes you make. So I just choose to play it every once in a while, play it for a few days this month or next. It's just enough play time so that I can have fun with the game and not over play it, and no competitive pointless rage.

  6. I mean when you're team is fucking you over hard to not be frustrated. Overall though I have moved past this...was bad when I was younger though

  7. I almost broke my controller yesterday. Was playing BOII trying to get the diamond camo on my ballista. For the last camo you need to get 10 bloodthirsty medals (5 kills w/ballista w/o dying)

I always get to 4 kills and then die by the stupidest bullshit ever.. 4 more bloodthirsties to go and I'm not looking forward to it at all.

Also shitty teammates make me rage a lot when I have to carry them in my back pocket

Have you never laughed at a video of an idiot freaking out over a video game? Changing behavior is hard indeed but who likes to knowingly be a fool?

If my son broke a console/controller or anything game related during a temper tantrum he would never own any recreational technology until employed. A controller, especially an older one might be given 1 free pass but it'd be replaced with an off brand one.

  9. Whem I was like.... 5, yeah.

I would through my controller at my TV and yell at it. "fucking bullshit! Motherfucker, fucking fuck" etc

    DBZ budokai mostly LOL

  10. The hitmarkers on mw3 may have gotten the best of my TV...

  11. I personally have always avoided competition. I dont understand needing to prove self worth to others. I dont understand needing to compete. I never swallowed the nationalistic propaganda of "i was born here so i love it." nor do I understand the reaction of anger to loss on a game that isnt real, determines nothing, has no purpose other than to kill time.

Its why i dont watch any sports as they determine nothing. Ibelieve its impossible to have a "best" anything due to bias and laws of probability.

Everytime i put a game on, i feel as though i should be doing something real beyond living in someone elses fantasy. So no, dont get your anger reaction, but maybe i overthought it.

  12.  Only if i was playing multiplayer online, because people can be little assholes, spawn-camping, exploiting glitches, disconnecting if you're winning, or fucking infinite combos.

  13. I got really mad when i was younger like around 13, but now that stuff just annoys me and when i stop having fun i stop playing because that's why i play games in the first place lol. These days i'd rather play rpg's or nintendo games where i can just chill and have fun.

  14. If I lose to someone with skill, I don't mind. If I lose to a cheater, hacker, masher, double team, then I get irritated. If people on gta5 team up on me, I put bountiy after bounty, call mercenaries, suicide bomb them, fuck their cars up, camp in front of their hideout, etc until they quit the session

  15. It's a game who cares... I get into when I play it but don't have like afterburner afterwards haha

Never understood people who do this. I had a buddy whip his ps3 controller at the wall and break it, after I beat him 4 games in a row on MLB

  18. Used to rage a ton when I was younger, now if it starts getting to me I take a break. Usually listen to music or just kill time on the internet.

  19. Dbz budokai was out already when you were 5? What are you 10?
