So 6 months ago I quit smoking tobacco and took up e cigarettes. I love e cigarettes. I feel way healthier now, except I go through 20 ml of e liquid every week, that's two bottles. The nicotine level is 28 mgs per 10 ml. I find myself more addicted to nicotine now more than ever. Even when I smoked a pack or two a day before I took up e cigarettes. My wife is worried. She plans to help me by getting me one 18 mg 10 ml bottle next time. Then after that then it's strictly to the 11 mg 10 ml bottles. I guess she's worried about my health which is good.

So my question is any one else ever get more addicted to nicotine because of your e cigarette habit?

I'm in no way blaming these beautiful inventions ( e cigarettes) for my addiction. I'm just saying based off my own stupidity. I got rather addicted, I vape constantly. Everywhere I go. All the time.

    Any one have any stories?

Also mods if this is against the rules I'm sorry. I just figured sense it was nicotine it was alright to discuss. The rules say cannabis, tobacco, alcohol are all allowed.

  2. My buddy used to smoke two packs of cigarettes a day when he was only 16!! He kept that up for four years then switch to e-cig and does 28mg 20 ml bottles a week. The reason you guys do so much I believe is because you get cought up in the flavor and vape a lot in one sitting. 10 average pulls is 2 cigarettes! So try doing the math and cut down like that first.

Next time buy 28mg but just try not using all 20 ml then cut down to the 19mg.

  3. I'm a casual smoker, and I smoke about 2 packs per week.
I've only tried an e-cig once, it was a standard blu e-cig I bought for a 8 hour road trip, so I could smoke in the car(not my truck lol). On long road trips I have to take extra meds for my arthritis related back-pain which, while very effective and much safer than OTC products, they strongly increase my desire to smoke cigarettes..which is somewhat annoying, but well worth the relief!
    \nHere are my thoughts on e-cigs;
They are healthier, in the sense that you aren't inhaling combusted organic matter containing a whole slew of other active chemicals besides nicotine.
However, the extra convenience of being able to "smoke" anywhere you like, may, in-fact, enable you to smoke even more.
\nNeedless to say, for the whole road trip, and most of the concert (also indoors, smaller auditorium than most, tight security) I was steady cheifing on that e-cig.
By the time I got home a day later, the damn thing was wasted!
\nTherefore, i'll keep my real cigarettes. Not only do I smoke FAR less, but it is MUCH MUCH more satisfying to inhale actual smoke, rather than funny tasting water vapor....IMHO.
\nAnd yes you are, indeed, quite addicted.
\nGood luck, stay away from those pharmaceuticals they advertise to quit smoking lol...wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole..

  4. Blu is a shitty e cigarette man. The vaporizer I use has a tank to pour your liquid in. It gives you the same throat hit a cigarette does and satisfies my cigarette urges like no other. Thank you both for contributing. I appreciate it! :)

  5. Isn't the point of those things to gradually use less of a nicotine content?

  6. There are organic all natural e liquids if your worried about health. There are also liquids with 0 nicotine.

I am the same with mine I will smoke it until I get head aches and then I stop.

Back then I used to smoke cigarettes because I liked the act of smoking and I switched to weed because it was an alternative with zero health risks and now we have e cigs that make it more convenient and it is vapor so its normal that you would go a little over board with it

¡satan has tricked the world into thinking he does not exist!

  7. I quit smoking on May 1, 2004 after smoking a pack of marlboro red a day for 30 years.

  8. I also love my ecig, well its vamo5 and I mix ny own juice.
Down to 12mg strength, and I vape 50ml a week.
Will never stop vaping now :)
I vape my weed, and vape my own juices.i still get my nicotine hit and get to blow huge plumes of vape its a win win situation me

  9. are you actually addicted to ecigs or just the motions of vaping? i was starting to burn through some serious ejuice when come to find out, all i was really doing was enjoying flavors and just going through the action of vaping and exhaling huge clouds..after i slowed down i realized my nicotine habit was much lower than i expected. really think about it man, you said it yourself, you vape everywhere you go all the time, but do you have to?

  10. It just takes some strong willpower man, it's not the olympics here. Just go through a freaking purge month.

  11. This guy has got it
I know because I am addicted to tobacco/weed bongs. I know it's terrible but my brain has become used to associating a bong rip with a nicotine hit. It's actually the motion of burning that big bowl and then breathing a big releasing relaxing breath into the world. I don't enjoy other methods as much now. Got hooked as a young teen trying to spread my weed the distance, planning to do something definitive about it on my 20th birthday

  12. Yea man just start cutting back on the nicotine level, that's the idea.

  13. If you enjoy using your e cig so much you should consider getting into drippers. I used to have my e cig nicotine at 15mg but once I got my dripping atomizer I dropped down to 5mg and now I'm at 3mg of nicotine. Plus the flavor is by far better and you get massive clouds. Just an idea for you
