got myself a ticket 2 days ago to see this movie got my popcorn turned my phone off as soon as the credits got threw I passed the hell out I was sooo mad I was just so tired I bet the movie was awesome guess I gotta go again..
I enjoyed this movie but I found the neuroscience sci-fi pretty silly. And I suspect that a lot of people will leave the cinema actually believing that we only use 10 or 20% of our 'brains capacity' (whatever that may even mean).
Loved this movie. Too many people approach this with a cookie cutter scientific expectation. I never looked at it as a manual of how our brain works in reality but more as a wide open speculation of a hyperaccelerated human evolution. To me it was more about her evolving to interact with the environment and just seeing those scenarios play out, than trying to learn how the human brain works in reality. Not really sure why anyone would look to Hollywood for that, even if the almighty Morgan Freeman "explains" it. He's only doing it to get a freckle anyway.
This movie just gave me this shits. 4/10. The 4 is just because Scarlett Johansson is pure eye-candy, otherwise it would be a solid 0 lol.
I also enjoyed it. The only people who don't like it have never seen it before sober or stoned. I thought it was going to be shit until I watched it stoned and to me it was one of the best movies to watch while stoned or even tripping 9/10. Sober it was ok I give it a 6 or 7. Another good film like that is interstellar which you should watch as well
That's weird.. I watched it both sober and high and thought it was poop overall. It wasn't terrible.. but if I didn't want to bang Scarlett, I would of thought it was pretty terrible. Their science fiction was too much fiction to enjoy.
Meh. I've watched it sober and stoned. It was OK both ways and nothing special either way. Scarlett is hotter than a five dollar pistol but that's not enough to make a movie great or "into the blue" would've been the greatest movie of all time.
Visually stunning movie - but once a certain scene happened, I kinda felt like the rest of the movie couldn't really top it... and it didn't lol.
It was okay I guess, that is, if you ignore the plot holes, shoddy science, and lack of originality. It was worth a rental.
