  1. Alright people I'm relatively new to growing, and I won't have all the answers to your questions, but I'll do my best to figure it out with you if your new and need help. And if I can't figure it out, I've got plenty of good, experienced growers that will be able to. I Check GC daily so if I don't answer you right away, I'll do my best to get back to you ASAP.

With your post please include all info on what lights you're running, your temp and humidity, how often you water, and any other info that may be relevant. Thanks!

  2. i have a plant outside that has had some branches fall over limp. just the ends of the branches do it. i had 2 days of rain but when i checked on them this morning it wasnt there. now this evening it is. minor bug damage on a couple leaves but nothing major. it looks as if someone tried to supercrop the branches but nobody has access to my grow.

ive added some photos that show the upside down leaves form the branches falling over.

  3. Do they go limp like that right before it gets dark?

  4. does it seem like the branches are falling over because they have too much weight on them? Like the ends are too heavy for the stalk to hold up?

  5. What nutrients are you using? Light type and wattage? And what temps are you running during the daytime?

That looks alot like a nutrient deficiency or too much of a nutrient. I'm going to bed now but I'll have answers for you as soon as I get up and see what the answers to those questions are. And how long have the leaves looked like that? Did it start earlier today? And have you had any other issues during this grow with anything?

  6. Could be heat damage, too, mixed with a nute problem. We'll figure it out before it's too late, though. No worries. Just keep positive thoughts and try to project them onto your plant. I know it sounds SO ridiculous, but what could it hurt, right? I try to do it at least once a day, and yes, it definitely took some getting used to, but they're growing like crazy now, so somethings helping lmao, and I'm willing to try anything that might help my girls!

  7. I am using gh nutrient line... Flora nova bloom. Kool bloom. Floraliscous. Rapid start 600 watt digilux hps highest temps are about 90 usually around 85-88

  8. Leaves have looked like that about a week it was cloned about 2-3 weeks ago

  9. Unfortunately those temps probably did the most damage. You gotta do everything you possibly can to get them down under 80. What are your PPM's at?

  10. Can you take more pics of the whole plant, the damaged areas, and the new growth for me? Take a little bit of your soil/medium, put it in a dish, and add the same amount of distilled water as the soil you took out (does that make sense?) Measure the PH of that, and that's your real PH. Unfortunately when you measure the PH of your runoff, you're not measuring the actual PH of the soil. Let me know what it's at.

  11. i noticed this at about 7 pm...i did not notice this when out at 12 pm earlier that same day

there isnt much weight on them either...just the same leaves that were there the day before.

someone mentioned it wasnt getting enough water but i had 2 days of heavy rain. i was thinking its overwatered

  12. Over Watering could do that for sure. I've heard that MJ leaves tend to droop a bit right before their dark time, almost like they can sense it's coming and stop using the leaves to soak up light as much. so maybe it's a mixture of a little too much water, and it getting ready for bed time. How's it looking today? Have you noticed any of the branches getting worse? The wind could have had an effect on it, too, if those other two were already making it a little sensitive, weak, and Droopy.

  13. As long as you don't keep giving it too much water, and it stays between 75-80 degrees, she should bounce back without any other problems. Keep me posted on how she looks throughout the rest of this week. If she gets worse then we'll need to look into it more, but these plants are so resilient that she should get well on her own as long as you take care of the basics.

  14. I have 4 dispensary-bought clones, 2 afgoo and 2 candyland. They are in 1 gallon bags under a 400w MH. I put then in happy frog soil 8 days ago in 1 gallon pots. They were watered with water and B1 the first day(Tuesday), then a little water and compost tea two days later(Thursday), and finally plain water 2 days after that (Saturday). This is what the candyland looks like: ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1406741142.958090.jpg
I think this is heat stress but I wanted to have it confirmed. And also ask what I can do to help them bounce back. I pointing the fans more in between the light and the tops and I'm gonna lift the light a little. I also changed it just now from 20/4 to 18/6. I'm gonna do a foliar feeding when the lights go off in hopes of hydrating the leaves. Is there anything else I could/should do. Maybe any vitamins or additives I can add to my water to help it come back from the stress? This is my first grow and I'm a little lost so I thank you in advance! Happy to upload more pics to if that's helpful.

  15. I wouldn't worry about giving it any extra food for a bit. Just distilled water. The plant should look somewhat back to normal within a few days once you get the temps right and dry her out a bit. Otherwise, just keep an eye on her and stay positive. She really should have no problem getting back healthy again by this weekend. Resume feeding once the new growth starts looking nice and healthy, and the old leaves start to flatten out again. During stressful periods when a MJ plant is trying to heal, less is more.

  16. The small amount of time between when you fed her the B1 and compost tea could have stressed her with over feeding in addition to any other elemental damage she had. Alot of people only feed about once a week. Not sure if it even hurt her on top of the heat and water, but it could have. You really should be okay by Friday, though. Especially since the leaves are a nice healthy green color with fairly minimal twisting. It looked alot worse when you first posted pics a couple days ago, right?

  17. so i went out today and i noticed more of the same. droopy tops. i was able to notice that where the pistils come out on the branches it has brown "dust or dirt" in the "v" that the hairs grow out of. a couple have small brown holes or what look like holes right bu the brown dusty spots. i tried to get some photos but my camera might be breaking. new batteries and it still just shuts off.

im guessing it may be some kind of boreing insect. they tend to bore into the branch then the tops become weak and wilt. sounds very similar to what i have going on.
