I bought a food deydrator, sliced up a few bananas and used it to dry them

The dried banana slices taste like candy and stick to my teeth. Makes me want to eat all of them... Maybe I could have an ice cream sundae and use these as the topping!

Heat- dried fruit tastes fantastic, but is it healthy?

I like to smoke some pot
    Helps me with my thought
    I Don't see why not

  2. yeah just as healthy as it was before you dried it.
a whole dried banana has just as much sugar as a whole fresh one, it's just concentrated.

  5. Concentration is the key though.

Dehydrating fruit does a few things.

    1:destroys the vitamin C
2:concentrates the sugar (increasing the glycemic index)
3:makes it easier to eat more of it

These last 2 things put you at risk of diabetes if you eat a lot of dry fruit and on top of that you don't get vitamin c
