Weighs Like A Zip, Doesnt Look Like A Zip?

    I can tell when like an eighth of loud is weak, standard, or plugged, but I just bought an O of reggie-mids and it weighed out to 28 (WITH the Ziploc by the way, is that standard?) but it doesn't look like a full ounce.

    Having said that, I've never seen an EXACT ounce of weed in person (except for the last time I bought reggie). But this definitely looks like less than what is on google images for an O of weed, and I definitely couldn't fit this in the "ounce Js" I've seen on YouTube.

    Any explanations?

    Summary: bought an O. Doesn't look like it could make 28 Js.

    Also, this shits dried ready to smoke, unlike some Mexican reggie I've bought before which had extra water weight.

    It should weigh at least 28 G, without the bag.
     
    Some herb is much denser then other strains. :smoke:

    It's the density of the bud man, and bags usually weigh around a gram so you got 27 not 28.

    maybe a lot of or large stems, dense bud structure may be the culprit....i thought i had gotten shorted an 8th when i saw 2 nugs but come to find out, one was a 3g nug, the other .5.

    Really depends on the size and manufacturer. Some snack baggies were 1.9, other companies, 1.7. Sandwich bags 2.4 - 2.6.

    It's around 28.7 so we good. My last zip was plugged to 30, it's no big diggity deal I was just wondering if it's standard to get 29 with the bag or 28.

    I guess so. It's just that when I buy reggie I buy for the QUANTITY you know? Hopefully when I grind it it will "fluff out" a lot if that makes sense.

    put it in a screen strainer and hold it over boiling water and it will steam puff it and make it look tons better and smoke better too.
     
    Iv done lots of pounds/kilos like that.

    After today I just don't understand how getting the "densest nugs" is a good thing...? Weighed out 1 G of this and it filled my grinder chamber, whereas 1 G of loud always fills two

    1 pound of feathers is the same as 1 pound of rocks, even if there are more feathers to that pound, they both still weigh up to the same amount.

    My ziploc (real brand) sandwich size baggies are always 2.4  I don't even need to weigh them anymore. So that is correct ^  Obviously different bags will weigh different, but I only use one brand, same for years. It's always weighed 2.4, every time.

    Haha ight.

    You obviously buy reggie for quantity over quality so I'm just bummed out I won't get as many Js as I would from an O of loud.

    Any other ideas to make it last/ fluff it out and make it less dense?

    Your tolerance must be really high if you can't get high from 1g of mids..I suggest taking a break, it'll be much more enjoyable afterwards.

    Always see it weighed without the bag man. And its prob just the density of the nugg itself, rather than the volume of it. I dont think that makes any sense...
