Recently obtained this plant from a friend, being completely honest I know very little, so any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. I am pretty sure this is a female but may be wrong. And i know it's hard by looking at these pictures and its all based on climate/amount of sunlight etc. but any guesses on how long she will take to start producing buds. And like I said I'm new to this so don't give me shit. Thanks.
Looks too early to me, but im a noob too so maybe someone can tell, the photos are out of focus but based on the architecture, from what I read, it looks a gentleman lol, how long has your friend had the plant? Sent from my SGH-T999L using Grasscity Forum mobile app
It doesn't look like it's showing sex yet..it's very easy to tell the difference between a male and female, you just gotta wait until it shows.
Not quite sure how long he had it he's in jail so kinda hard to ask, but thanks both of you for your answers. Will post more pictures as she/he grows more.
Look at the middle or the growth closer to the top for organ sites. Where the main stem conects might be a hard place for them to grow since it looks a little bulky there. TIP: Plant sex is not fully based on "sunlight" nor "climate". When a seed is being created in the mother plant, the sex is already determined. But there are ways for females to grow male organs too. That is a Hermie, as a lot of people call it.
