Does Michigan Mmma Protect Out Of State Ommp Growers?

    does anyone know for sure if michigan law protects a mm patient grower from out of state? If I have OMMP or IL MM card can i legaly grow in michigan? My uncle lives in michigan and visit several months of the year, can i grow while im there and maybe have him as caretaker for when im out of town for work? ive tried calling many state agency and many attorney but cant find exact answer as i dont want to break any laws. Im waiting on attorney callback, wanted to get some opinions on here. many thanks!

    Yes, under Section 4(j) of the MMMA, a registry identification card or its equivalent issued by another state government to permit the medical use of marihuana by a qualifying patient or to permit a person to assist with a qualify patient's medical use of marihuana has the same force and effect as a registry identification card issued by the department.
