Amsterdam Coffeeshops

    Hey blades!!! I am heading out to The Netherlands tonight (landing in Amsterdam) for the first time in my life so as a fellow tree smoker this is an awesome moment. Not so awesome though is the fact that ive only been smoking BHO for several weeks except for last week when I bought an 8th in hopes of getting back to weed before leaving to Europe. That 8th was gone in less than 24hrs. So logically I bought BHO again and have been smoking some nice Blue Dream shatter since then. Fucking BHO, god damnit. So basically, have any of you been to Amsterdam and seen BHO/concentrates in a coffee shop? if not its fine im not gonna feign for it but I would like to know so I dont waste time looking and hoping to find it.
     
    Also what is the best coffeeshop for you guys? I have been reading threads about it but I wanted to ask myself as well because idk how old those threads are (did not check #smacked). Atmosphere, prices, and quality of product being the three main criteria. THANKS!  :bongin:

    Bulldog is the best coffee shop hands down. Not sure if they have Bho though

    Yeah theirs bho in Amsterdam, their weeds pretty crappy but their hashes are good, I forgot the names of the ones who had concentrates but maybe try greenhouse an bulldog of Barney's

    Yeah Bulldog might be worth checking out but I would probably steer clear for the weed, many say its a bit of a tourist trap...Although I am staying at the Bulldog Hotel in one of their private rooms since they have a smoking lounge and rooftop terrace. I'm also from the states and had been dabbing for weeks prior to coming out, but also using bud a lot because BHO is hard to find around me (Jerz)...I actually leave tomorrow from London with the girlfriend to take a train to Amsterdam for four nights  for our second time so if you did find any BHO post back here and let me know! As far as coffee shops I plan to go to Amnesia has some of the best weed I have ever smoked (Amnesia Haze) also gunna stop at Barneys, Dampkring, Hill Street Blues for some edibles, Grey Area, Abraxas and more that I happen to stumble across...here is a pretty good resource for you to locate all of the shops: http://www.coffeeshop.freeuk.com/Map.html Also walk around in Vondel Park and eat a lot of Stroopwaffel and Wok to Walk!

    Coffeshops named above are ok ! That's it , get away from the red light area for real/proper coffeeshops . OLD AMSTERDAM in the Rembrandt square has some of the best smoke , chilled aswell , voyagers which is down the road from Central station is brilliant , Barney's and greenhouse are too expensive , don't get your money's worth there , altho the other greenhouse on red light canal is very good Pricewise for the quality of weed . There's no such thing as 'best coffeeshop' cause everyone is different as to what they prefer , myself I think ( old amsterdam , the greenhouse(red light are) and coffeeshop noon have the best quality weed, there prob not the best places to chill like the Barney's,damprink or mellow yellow . Best to walk around the city and have a stop at a few coffeshops each day , that way you'll know which you prefer and stuff .youll DEFINATELY find somewhere you like , plenty to chose from . MAKE SURE TO GO TO OLD AMSTERDAM AT REMBRANDT SQUARE , ITS DOWN THE ROAD FROM THE SQUARE ITSELF . BEST PLACE AROUND

    There's a place on the haarlemeratraat near centraal station called Popeye that's worth checking out too. I forget some of the names of the other places but the haarlemeratraat is filled with them. There's a few near dam square too.

    Like the guy said above me, check out old Amsterdam at the rembrandts plain. The rembrandts plain has many restaurants and a comedy club as well.

    Where the bulldog? I didn't see that in a single review, and people I know who have stayed in the private rooms said they are really clean...If bedbugs were horrible there, there would be reviews saying it absolutely everywhere because noone is going to stay at a place infested with bed bugs

    Thanks a lot guys! Im in Amsterdam now and I've gone to bulldog because it ended up being a couple blocks from my hotel and then this other place called the dolphins which is literally the building next to my hotel so i just had to go to see if it was apt for the morning sesh. Im gonna go to abraxas now! Hopefully another one as well jajaja. Havent found bho yet. I did notice some sticky male joints at the dolphins though.

    Dolphins is awesome! That was the first coffee shop I went to in Amsterdam a few years ago and I loved it...Got a gram of Skunk and their Dolphin Hash... I am gettin to Amsterdam tomorrow and can't wait!

    I went to abraxas today and they have the highest quality I've seen so far, I got 5 grams of amnesia haze. I also got tesla power from dolphins and its really nice, if you go to dolphins get that its by far their best. I got some hash as well from there. The Marrakech express and its decent.     Yo , tomorro get yourself to VOYAGERS COFFESHOP , it's on the PRINS PREMENADE near the train station . Go up the damrak towards the train station and when you get to the main road in front follow the road/traffic right , keep walkin with the traffic for 5 mins and on your right hand side you'll see it . Go there around 1-4 pm . THANK ME LATER . Take care

    I got the Tesla from Dolphins too it was really nice...Ended up stopping at about 15 coffee shops total and went through about 20 different strains. Gunna make a Amsterdam trip thread at some point but it was amazing there. And no bed bugs to be seen :smoke:
