Are These Ferts And Blood And Bone Mix Useable

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by KayakMan, Jul 28, 2014.

  1. I'm starting a low budget grow, here are some stuff in my gardening shed. I'm actually not sure what blood meal and bone meal is but I have a bag of blood and bone. Also going to link some seedling containers I have from an old hydroponics set up(fruit and veg), please tell me how useful they will be in the early stages.

Im from Australia too, so aussies might know the products a bit better. CAM00060.jpg CAM00058.jpg CAM00057.jpg CAM00056.jpg CAM00055.jpg CAM00054.jpg CAM00053.jpg

  2. Those seem good. Tomatoes have close needs to the marijuana plant.

Blood meal is good for nitrogen, if the plant is getting a light green or yellow, this would be a good idea to use. Becareful of not using too much of anything though.

and the blue things? can I start my seeds(after germination) in the blue things containers?

I am pretty sure seasol has no Nitrogen and Phospherous

  4. Most

Definitely! Which method are You using for germinating?
I like to go with the water in a cup, or the soaked napkins.

I don't like popping them in the soil straight away since I wouldn't know when the seeds popped.

If You would like more information please PM Me and I will be happy to help You!

Also, youtube or google some ways to get nitrogen that is safe for a plant, there should be some tutorials.

  5. Use plastic cups for planters, those little trays will be a bitch to get a little seedling out without hurting it.

  6. napkins most likely, don't don't flooding my seeds in a cup, don't know the harms but I definately don't like the idea of flooding them in a cup.

Works perfect, 24 hour soak in water in a warm place. I buy seeds that are up to $26 a seed. Its the right way.

  8. I understand. Make sure You don't use any soft napkins or toliet paper, the roots like to get tangled if You don't remove them before they get too long.

I messed up a couple times there which is why I used the cup method. Both work great though.

  9. I would thumbs up to this but for some reason it says error while giving reputation. Do You have any clue why?

  10.
Double click will make it wonkey.
