Longboarding While High

Yeah mon long boarding is mad fun. I need to start riding more but where I live, the state made a nice running/walking/biking/boarding trail. It's right by a huge lake and in the distance there's mountains it's beautiful.
But I'm more of a skier than any other thing. So when winter comes along I occasionally toke while I ski haha

 

Bout to go do it actually😁 just waiting for my dealer to hmu.

 

I ride on a bike trail sometimes.. Its dirt though, pretty packed down, and through a forest and almost all at a mellow downhill 
 
Avoiding other people on the trail gets sketchy though.. its kinda narrow, and foot braking on dirt isnt that easy.

 

I can't even foot break 😂😂 I'm still new to longboarding haha

 

biking high is wayy better. feels like you are floating, and you can also go anywhere.

 

i love to board along the st clair river trail at sunset or sunrise..

I used to. Those where some good times. Sadly I've had to put my boards away I can't ride them where I live.

 

I went biking around town while high, it was a little difficult at first but I got the hang of it after a while

And to be honest, it was the most fun I've had while high

I really need to get a longboard, rode 500m on a friends in the middle of the night whilst high and I just fell in love ! Tried it the next day sober and I was still in love
So i've got my old skate out to mess around with until I go and buy one, can't wait !
 
 
Oh and if anyone has got any recommendation as of what to get, that'd be cool. Main use would be cruising/carving. Thx

 

Get a Sector 9, great beginners' board. Great for cruising. As for carving look into bushings with a higher durometer for easier turns. If you wanna learn how to slide look into harder wheels as they'll be much easier/safer to slide with.

You can build your own for relatively cheap at their site ($140-$160.) I just recently got a $200 board while on vacation. It's my baby. Rude it every day to work and a couple miles afterwards. Amazing investment.

 

I love longboarding while high and sober. I use to do a heap of dh and freeride, but took a few bad stacks that sent me to the hospital, so i dont race anymore but still have some fun with mates on the occasion. I prefer to go fast and do some predrifts/rail corners as quick as possible. Pack runs down a hill here, which is 3km long and is closed off to vehicular traffic top speed of around 50km/h but it has 18corners with about 6 of them being hairpins.
 
So much fun and you get a good workout while you are having fun.

 

You had me at no vehicle traffic. Lost me at 50km. Thats crazy man. Takes balls. Much respect. I've probably only hit about 25 to 30 mph. We don't have many hills to bomb that are closed to traffic. I'm usually cruising the roads weaving cars haha.

I've been longboarding for a couple of years now, grew up skating and riding BMX, gotta say it's my love out of all three.

Looking to switch some shit up though, been checkin' out some Loaded's and I'm really diggin' the cantellated Tessy

 

Hell yeah! Me and my friends always go out at 12 am-ish and ride around campus. Always meet some chill people. But the best part is longboarding is the perfect cover for smoking. walking around campus at 2 am and see a cop? youre getting searched. on a longboard the cops dont even look twice.

 

I just ordered a honey longboard for my birthday anyone know if honey longboatds are any good?
