  2. Maybe a hydro shop if your in Cali, or try a pool supply store?

  3. Are you serious? you are on the internet aren't you? look it up. What major stores do you have that have plant departments? (wal mart, home depot, lowes, ect) They all should carry em'. I know home depot does for sure....

  4. Only place other than a hydro store that I can imagine might have one is an aquarium specialty store.

  5. Earl May carries a pack of dissolving tablets, it will test N-P-K and PH values. Costs about $30.

Plus they also carry Fox Farm supplies... excellent source if you have one nearby.

  6. OK thanks guys and yea i alrdy searched walk mart home depot don't have them Lowes either .and the hydro store we got here is closed till Tuesday so I might have to wait but hope my plants well be good till then

  7. If you're growing in soil, what I have found works... once you're about 4 or 5 weeks into veg, use a gallon of distilled water and flush it. Make sure you have adequate drainage, give it about 10 or 15 minutes to drain the excess water.

After a sufficient amount of time, use your feed solution... mix it per gallon and repeat the flush process.

I rarely have Ph problems anymore. That's just what I find works for me... I've spent a lot of money on products that will resolve deficiencies, and test levels. Not a waste of money, as I'm sure sooner or later I will stumble, and need to do so quick troubleshooting... but so far, so good.

  8. Who needs a PH tester anyways. I did my entire last grow without checking PH, RH, or temp. Necessary, no. Helpful, yeah. Get some good soil and you shouldn't have to worry about PH and stuff. This is just my opinion. Most people will disagree.

  9. I completely agree with Legal Liez, if done right you won't necessarily need it. My preference is to have one in my tool kit, just in case. If you have the cash to spend on it... might as well add one to your arsenal.

  10. I'm using fox farm soil and fox farms nutes big bloom and tiger bloom i used water from house it ranges at 7.2 im up to full 2 teaspoons of tiger bloom my plants are in 4th and going on 5th for the other one tomarrow.I just don't wanna mess them up so close to harvest 8 week strain

You can get a bunch of test strips for like 10$. and it has like 100
They're very accurate too. You just need to know how to read them.

  15. They come with a manual. Basically they have layared colors and you dip it into the water, and the colors will change based on the PH, and it will have a color scale for the reading.

  16. Shop for the best price. You can buy a pH meter from a scientific supply company such as Cole Parmer, Edmund Scientific, Fisher Scientific, Nelson Jameson, Omega Engineering, or VWR. Prices range from under $100 to over $1,000; to get the best deal, assess your needs and ask the company's representatives about the capabilities and features of their pH meters before you buy.

  18. You collect drainage from the soil and dip the strip in the water, and it will give you the ph.
