So i have a plant thats been growing great outdoors for about a month now, well up until a few days ago that is lol and ive only grown 2 clones from local dispensaries.. so this is my first real grow and its bagseed so im pretty excited its female but now im worried bout other issues. Transpiration..
\nits in basic miracle gro organic potting soil
\nbeen using tap water only watering when top few inches feel dry and i dont know the ph but its been growing good so far so i imagine it cant be that far off from a ph of 6 to 7 which i read is ideal
\nso since it was doing good and was starting to show pre flowers i figured id i give it miracle gro all purpose i kno i kno lol many ppl have issues with that but that was alittle over a  week ago and it was a seriously miniscule amount like a 1/4 of a 1/4 teaspoon haha and only that one time and have been using regular water ever since then. and the plant seemed to love it. until a few days ago when the temps got to 100 degrees and my plant decided to open up and transpire heavily.. the new growth looked glazed with water.. from trying to cool itself down from what ive read but i cant find any solutions yet for my specific problem no matter how much i research transpiration and cannabis lol so 100 degress and it started sweating then got burned because the water sat and the sun boiled it. but now everytime i put it in the sun it starts to sweat and in turn burn, get rusty, some dark colored spots on the edges, droops, curls and juss generally looks bad and in the sun the older leaves juss droop more. btw no more 100 degrees but it has been bout 90 with humidity of bout 40 and the wind has been 5 to 10 mph and the plant seems alot better in shade but im also curious as to how to fix or go about this to prevent further damage and how i could put my baby back in full sun eventually cuz i started alittle late for outdoors lol but any help is much appreciated. pictures should help i think sorry their alittle blurry. thanks in advance. btw theres a sticky trap in there but the plant is not infested.. ive been checking underneath the leaves with a magnifying glass juss to make sure it wasnt a horrible bug infestation so i dont believe that would be the cause.

New growth looks okay but has black tips and when it hits 90 degrees mid day, the new growth transpires heavily then wilts and burns so the shade definetly helps.

Rust, droopy and yes i trimmed some leaves back

    Droopy, burning and curling/twisting

  2. This is typical in 2 major areas, no perlite and in a small pot, also once temps pass 27c/75F plants just go dormant until it cools again, by then many plants are to tired or stressed to spring back into growing, so just feel like shit.

If I were you I would re pot to a 4 / 5 gallon pot with 30% perlite and miracle grow potting mix, no nutes for 3 weeks minimum, and ensure your babe has some shelter between 10am-2pm it don't have to be much, an old trash bag hung laterally 2-4 feet above the plant or even obscured by a thick tree, water after work about 4.30-5.30pm everyday, just a half a coffee cup daily go by weight of the pot first, theres many tricks to growing in very hot climes, including the popular paint you pot white, as keeping your roots cool is a great idea.

....true many stressed plants, do attract bugs ..so get some Neem Oil , and spray 1 times per week or more, organic and good for molds too

  3. Thank you very much for the reply. I plan to transplant it soon with perlite added in and ill do my best to keep it cool. The new growth is growing in okay it seems but I hope she pulls through. And btw would the bottle of garden safe insecticidal soap i have help for future insects or would it hurt the plant more at this stage?

  4.  insecticidal soap ...is good ..but potup first allow to settle 2-3 days then the soap

  5. Okay cool. Thanks for all the great ideas, seriously lol

  6. I agree when growing outdoors most new growers don't know if you grow outdoors in pots the roots will get hot easier so the hotter it gets the more water is required for the plant just because it uses the water quickly so you should water everyday don't over do it maybe water a little more on hotter days but if you plant in the ground naturally the roots stay much cooler cause they are under ground there is no place to heat up but more water is still required your plant will be fine just make sure she has shade for the hottest part of the day and like the guy above said water everyday

Thanks for the additional info TriiLife. Ima b doing my best to keep it moist n cool n Ima be transplanting soon and into a bigger better smart pot and hopefully the roots can take a deep breathe. Im going to be using fox farm soil this time around so maybe that will help the moisture and heat as well.
