Hi, I have started to flush my plant (first flush yesterday) and now today ive noticed two leaves turning black ... is this normal?
They are turning purple, not black. That is either from the temps dropping below 60 at night or a start of phosphorus deficiency late in flower.
Since you just flushed everything out of the soil, it's more than likely a P deficiency. Are you near harvest?
Im confused, one minute people are telling me to flush as shes nearly ready for harvest. And now I have people saying they dont look ripe! Shes 62 days old Yes im flushing for harvesting
If you determined it will be ready for harvest in 2 weeks, just water the plant with plain water regularly. There is no need to "flush" by dumping copious amount of water at once.
Im not dumping large amounts of water at once? I am feesing her every three days (like I normally would) but with just plain water. I was just wondering whats causing the purple
all pot plants are purple, the purple is just covered by the green (Chlorophyll)....right? You are just seeing the emergency final backup to getting energy into the plant. if near harvest, it's perhaps normal for that strain???
Might be a defficiency or cold temps. Does mother of these plants have the same characteristics? Or does the strain? If so then most likely genetics, if not. ^^^^
