So, I was at my dealers house (keep in mind I live in a non legal state) and while we were talking he pulls out an O-pen, and we start hitting it. He then tells me that if I want, he can hook me up with one: 100 for the pen itself and 75 per for one gram cartridges. Now I'm seriously considering it because I like the idea of a pen that I can carry with me, already pre loaded with oil. I have an oil pen, but it only lasts for a few puffs before I have to put more in. So this would definitely be convenient, and vacation friendly. Now, I realize it's probably marked up quite a bit based on the fact that it's hard to get something like that in my state, and it's illegal here. but what I'm really wondering is if it'll be worth it, so I was hoping someone who has one or has experience with one could answer a couple of questions. The first one being, should I even consider making this purchase? would a one gram cartridge of oil in the pen be about the same as one gram of wax for dabbing? Any other information you could provide on this would be appreciated as well. Sucks not being in a legal state.
Sounds like a rip off to me. I was getting o-pens for 50$ pre loaded with 25$ replacement profiled cartridges from Denver before it was recreationally legal. Also in my opinion all those pre-loaded cartridges don't compare to any of the dabs I've ever had. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Thanks for the input. Everything that comes through my area is very expensive, so if you want things like this, you have to be willing to pay heavily overmarked prices.

lol hold up pal. the pen itself excluding the cartridge (the battery) is just your average 510 threaded vape battery. if you're using it for o-pens i recommend the "Joye 510" battery, or "Joye 510 mega" if you want longer battery life. you can find these online for as low as $12. the cartridges itself retail $25 for 250mg and $30 for 500mg, if the cartridges from your dealer then go for it if you are willing to spend. the o-pen carts are extremely convenient and easy to use for purposes of getting high.

Wax will be a better spend of your money, for sure. In response to the question you posed- No. The O Pen is not even close to dabbing at all. It's definitely convenient, though.
