Dna Chocolope Week 10 From 12/12, Ready To Chop? (Trich Pics)

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by teaz, Jul 25, 2014.

  1. It's been 10 weeks since I flipped to 12/12. Soil grow under LED. Breeder (DNA) says 8-9 weeks. It's a 95% sativa, so I expected her to run long. Unfortunately, I'm out of time and need to take her down soon. I switched lights to 10/14 about a week ago to try and push her along and I might go completely dark for 24-48 hours before the cut.

Trichs look mostly cloudy to me (a few clear in spots), but want some second opinions. Thoughts?

  2. It looks awesome but you need to use full spectrum lighting. Those LEDs just make everything pink

  3. True on the LEDs. I need to take her out of the cabinet for a closer look under regular lights. I'll do that later for sure.

  4. Do you have a scope of something to get a much closer look with? I find it really helps as you see much more clearly if trichs are clear, cloudy and/or amber.

p.s. love Chocolope. One of the first strains I smoked at Grey Area in Amsterdam. Fell in love with DNA Genetics there. Enjoy that stuff!!!

95% sative and they're tellin you 8-9 weeks? BAHAHAHAHAHA!

if it really is 95% sativa, I would say go 12-13 at the very LEAST, just by the look of it I would say keep going

  6. Thanks guys--I know I'm pushing the clock here. Hard to fight mother nature. Just hoping I'm not too far off.

I've been growing this one since April and it's almost August. I have to cut it in the next couple days, but it has been in flower for 10 weeks now. The pistils are throwing me--still many white ones, but I'll be checking the trichs closely.

May have to sacrifice some of the newer buds on the lower part of the plant which won't be ready yet.

  7. I’m actually growing the same thing and on week 10 today. I was letting mine run for 12-13weeks only based on some of the other research I did. The buds have tons of white pistils still, but on the flip side, trich’s looking cloudier. Keep me posted on your harvest man... I’d like to see what you came to
