Minimum wage here is $7.93 so i make roughly $250 a week.
I still feel like its not enough :/

  2. In 2014, it's not enough.

  3. Whats your job?

  4. i feel your pain. a number of years ago i had to change employment to better suit my health issues. no one tells you that youre starting on the bottom again. hang in there and keep pumping the applications out. make sure youre sending them to jobs that you would love to do even though youre not qualified for them. you just dont know where it could lead.
so ya man, just hang in there.

  5. Don't work minimum wage?

  6. Don't settle for an easy job and you'll get paid more. Life lesson for you right there

  7. Learn a trade.

  8. I work at a carwash.. not really that easy.
Id rather get paid minimum wage than to not find anything else. . .
Its hard to find work out here..

  10. hey man at least you're employed. you said it yourself, hard as fuck to find work out there. cling on to your 250 a week bro. stash some of it away and then spoil yourself a lil when you've enough so that you don't feel so low about it.

fuck working at a carwash tho lol

  11. Worst part is it's never enough

  12. Good shit man. I worked at a car wash in high school.

Get into detailing cars. Good money in that if you're somewhere where there are wealthy car owners haha

  13. Idk about your situation but personally. If I'm getting paid minimum wage either way id go for the easiest minimum wage job with benifits aka mcdonalds, Burger King, wendys etc. your getting paid the same but you at least subtract price for food for lunch and maybe even dinner.

  14. yeah I work a minimum wage job ($9/hour here). I get between 25 and 40 hours per week usually, so for me a 'large' paycheck is something like $480 every two weeks. but I live with the folks and bike everywhere I go so expenses are close to nothing.

you should look into learning a skill or trade. you'll make way more money.

  15. If you want to do a trade look into truck driving many of the larger companies offer free training you just have to call them and see. I would look at a company called Swift Transportation. Oh you can't smoke weed for these jobs but if you work hard enough you can save up some money for school if you were to choose to do that. For the last seven years I drove before I had to quit for medical reasons I was a owner operator my average pay before anything was taken out was about $150.00 a hour I won't go into road use tax or fuel. Average company driver makes about 20.00 to 25 an hour. Good money easy job.

  16. It's not hard to find a job that's not minimum wage. Living in the city helps, but I managed to not even finish college and get a job at 19 making 12 bucks an hour 40 hours a week. After bills and what not that shit still isn't enough.. Find some freelance work on the side, I got a buddy who runs a computer business and another buddy who does yardwork with me we know all these rich people that pay us large amounts of money to mow their lawn, paint fences, etc.

All of my jobs have been above min. wage at my state which is $7.25. I always shot for jobs above that and my first job was as a housekeeper at $8.00 an hour and now 4 years later, I work at a warehouse for a retail store at $9.00 per hour and was originally getting paid $8.50. The awesome thing was that my boss was giving reviews around the same time I was hired and I was only there for about a month and he realized that I have a strong work ethic and gave me a 50 cent raise in a months time which is cool. I'm about done with college now, but always aim higher than the minimum and do hard work. It's worth it in the end.

Though 9 dollars an hour isn't top notch money, it's still good for a college student like myself.

  18. Fuck yea, wanting to get some bud tomorrow.

  19. We're all fucking broke..

Did you know our currency isn't even backed by gold or silver anymore??
We are all out there slaving our lives away for fancy linen-woven paper...ya'll are anyway, fuck that shit!

Hell they might as well pay us in dope...if they did that we'd all be a lot richer and they don't want that..damn thieves...

  20. That's fucked man I'm an Aussie working on around $22 an hour doing nothing by putting stock on a shelf at a shop. Of course stuff is a little more expensive here but going by currency conversion it seems that working over here pays a lot more
