Strain-Specific Edibles?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by GrassBurger, Jul 24, 2014.

  1. 1)  In general, if you have a particular strain of weed that, when smoked, provides a certain physical experience, would that same experience translate into an edible, if you used that same weed to make the edible?   In general, is that accurate?

    2)  If so, can someone explain (your opinion) why edibles seem to always be sold only as "indica" or "sativa" ?  The difference in experiences is so vast in the smoking realm, that I can't imagine why there aren't "Elephant Kush" edibles or "OG Kush Edibles".

    3)  If paragraph 1 above is correct, then one could make an OG Kush Edible couldn't one?

    Thanks
