Chances Of Getting Probation

    So I'm just wondering what you guys think my chances of getting probation in court are, sometime around 420 this year I got busted with 1 charge of paraphernalia on a citation, I wasn't actually arrested. I'm thinking of just going to court, however my lawyer said I could be put on probation. The citation was a 500$ fine, and I've completed 6 weeks of a IOP( intensive outpatient program) program, along with going to NA meetings. This is my first offense. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated from people who have experience with the court system.

    Quite possible, its all a money game and you on probation=$$ for them. But if you already paid a fine and did the other shit why isn't it taken care of? Why are you going to court?

    Oh no i didn't pay the fine, I'm doing all this shit to try and get it off my record, Technically I didn't finish the program, I'm still in it. It's 12 weeks long, I'm thinking of taking my chances, completing 6 weeks of it and going to court.

    for paraphernalia they might just make u do this bullshit program and ur free but hey u never know, just keep ur nose clean and you'll b fine
